Dallas trades its 2014 5th round pick for a 2013 6th round pick.
1. Jonathan Cooper, OG UNC - Fast, athletic Guard. If he gets to us, it will be a steal.
2. Kawann Short, DT Purdue - Fast, athletic DT. See a trend.
3. Stedman Bailey, WR West Virginia - New target for the $100 million dollar QB. Adding him with Dez and Witten would give Defensive Coordinators headaches.
4. Le'veon Bell, RB Michigan State - Could place a number of RBs in this spot. Bell is the one that jumps out on tape for me.
5. Eric Martin, LB Nebraska - Ran a faster 40 time (4.53) at his pro day than Gooden, Collins and Moore. More than that, he was a leader on the Nebraska defense and a great special teams player for his team.
6. Don Jones, S Arkansas State - Hard nosed Safety who also ran an impressive 40 time at his pro day (4.41). With the return of Barry Church and hopefully a healthy Matt Johnson, Safety is not so much a need IMO. I think Jones could emerge as a star under a good amount of tutelage and time.
6. David King, DE/DT Oklahoma - Another leader on his college defense, another fast forty time (4.7) for his size (6'4", 275). Again, I think with time he can be great. Short and King would be a great combo for Marinelli to mold into his two DT, (King would need to gain a bit of weight.)
