So, here is my second mock. No QB early, and I'm taking Bosa, so this should make the brown list for a lot of people here. Really I just wanted to focus on some players who have not been discussed too much, while also providing those we do discuss at length. Not gonna make any trades, although I think trading down in the first and trading back up into the first will be a move dallas makes with the extra picks. To the mock!
1. Joey Bosa DE Ohio State
There is plenty that has been talked about. My main reason is the guy can rush the passer and causes teams to game-plan for him and adjust. Provides what will be a stout run defense and commands to be double and triple teamed. This should help free up our inside guys and push that pocket. Alternate: Jalen Ramsey
2. Karl Joseph SS WVU
Again, someone who is popular around here. The guy makes plays and that is something we lacked last year. Good range and thumps well. Will size and style work him over? Is he his worst enemy? Injuries are a concern. Alternate: Josh Doctson if he gets out of the first, Noah Spence anyone?
3. Josh Perry LB Ohio State
Solid linebacker who can cover and tackle well. Does a good job running through trash vertically to make the play on the outside. Seems to play at one speed as he looks like a heady player, smart and taking calculated moves. Played on the outside so can provide depth there, but I feel he has the skill-set to move inside. Alternate: Jordan Howard
4. Javon Hargrave DT
This is round later than he projects, but he has already risen quite a bit in what is a very loaded class for the DT position. We'll say the small school humbles his projection a bit. Either way you have a player upside who dominated at his level of competition while also showing to play in the senior bowl against better competition. holds his ground in the run while displaying great pass rushing skill. 22 TFL and 13 sacks as a senior. Alternate: Keyarris Garrett Gotta love that size and deep threat.
4. D.J. White CB GT
A cornerback to develop with tremendous ability to play the ball. Average size and a smart player who can setup the pick. Should develop into a nice nickel corner initially. Alternate: Ummm, Javon Hargrave??
6. Brandon Allen QB Arkansas
Two mocks and I have taken Allen twice in the sixth. I've got nothing to hide, I like Allen. I think he will be a great addition to the team as a very solid backup and the potential for more. I don't even think he'll be here in the sixth even with his "strong-hand". He has a quick release, good pocket awareness and the right head for the game. Guy can stand and deliver, while also displaying an ability to use his legs to move the pocket and extend plays. Improved every year he played at Arkansas which bodes well for ability to work to get better. Alternate: I dont know, but plenty to choose from...
6. Ben Braunecker TE Harvard
Ivy league player with some mad receiving chops and ability to block. The only question can he make the leap skill wise to the NFL? Workout warrior at the combine as the top performer in all categories for his position. 48 catches 850 yds 8TDs this last year. Honestly he'll probably go a round earlier, but I got him falling a little.
6. Darius Jackson RB E. Michigan
Very athletic running back given his size. 41" vertical, 11'1" broad jump, 40 dash in 4.38 seconds all at 6'1" 220 lbs. Wasn't invited to the combine so is a bit under the radar. Seemed to be good in pass blocking with areas to improve. Good vision and a home-run threat. Level of competition is a concern.

6. Mitch Mathews WR BYU
I have a new pet cat and his name is Mitch. 6'6" 220lbs. Dude is huge and after watching his tape his stats are deflated quite a bit from a QB that consistently under threw him. His highlight reel is a montage of off target passes by his QB after he has soundly beat his opponent. Runs in the 4.4 range and has a good get off at the line. Fairly quick for a guy his size and a legitimate deep threat. 20 TD catches the last two seasons. 38-inch vertical leap, 10'9" broad jump. Went into his pro-day with a chip on his shoulder as he feels he is an elite WR and did not disappoint. High points the ball well, displaying strong hands and soft hands. Can adjust for the ball well in the air.
