Dallas trades down to Niners pick and receive 2,4. Dallas also trades into the 6th w/ two 7ths and a 6th next year.

The trade down left us with an opportunity to get our starting cover safety in the draft, hopefully setting us up for the future with Wilcox taking Church's position if and when he makes the small-school to NFL adjustment. Good value here and years overdue.
2. Dominique Easley DT
Rotational player with Melton along with the ability to play the 1T w/ penetration ability. First round talent who will hopefully come back strong. Had a good pro day and positive outlook medically. Ideally, if Crichton were to be here, that is who I would select, but I think he will be gone. I honestly was gonna take Jernigan here, drug test and all, but decided to go with the crowd pleaser.
2. Marcus Smith DE
Seriously underrated. My favorite pass rusher in the draft. Has a killer spin move and is dumb fast off the snap. Has the ability to hold the edge. Knock on him was a lot of his sacks came on stunts. While true, that does not mean he does not have the ability to rush on the outside. Watch the game tape. He continuously was able make tackles in the backfield and pressure the QB whether edge rushing, rushing inside by stunt or lining up inside like a 3T and shooting the gap(surprisingly effective) a testament to his strength.
3. Trai Turner OG
People argue he is the best guard in the draft. 3d round is great round to grab him if he's there.
4. Brandon Coleman WR
BIG, fast outside WR depth we need. Huge potential and huge redzone target.
4. Ethan Westbrooks DE
Top DE in DII. Has good combine numbers, quick off the snap. Knows how to get to the quarterback. Played well against better talent in All Star games, making some key plays in game.
5. Storm Johnson RB
Run, catch, block. He does it all and can do it well. My pet cat RB.
6. Carlos Fields Jr. OLB
Small School LB who had an eye opening pro day. Extremely productive in college. May need time to adjust speed wise in the NFL, bu tall the tools necessary to do so.
7. Aaron Colvin CB
Look who has fallen into the 7th round. Injury concerns but too much talent to let go undrafted. He may be here, he may not. In this world he was here.
7. Connor Shaw QB
Efficient. Winner. Somebody has to compete with Weeden for the third spot.
7. Austin Wentworth OT
Fresno State tackle who kept Derek Carr standing up. Has versatility to play inside and outside. Great player to grab in the 7th round
7. Tevin Reese WR
Dude just burns the defense at will. One-trick pony, but he trick he does is so awesome. Should be able to add on 10-15 pounds without losing to much speed. Productive guy with decent numbers. It's the seventh.
