Mock 4/25 Clowney Rumor Trade Up

Despite the knocks on this guy, the talent is elite and not
just one highlight hit. Marinelli will get the best out of him.

2nd (48) Kareem Martin DE 6'6 274
Easley is tempting but his size and two injuries say something
about him playing d-line. They double down on a DE. This guy has
the size, burst and production and was Team Captain

3rd (78) Billy Turner 6'5 315 OT
Will Clarke is gone and so is Gabe Jackson, but
Turner has a bright future. He can start at OG and Slide to RT.

4th (119) Josh Mauro DT/DE 6'6 271
Has flex and played a lot over the Nose. 1DT

5th Brandon Thomas OG/OT 6'3 317
Dropped because of injury. Will be available in late Nov.
Red-shirt him and has the potential to be a pro-bowl LG

7th Marion Grice RB
7th Davon Coleman DT/DE
7th JC Copeland FB/ (3DT prospect)
7th Taylor Gabriel WR/KR

I think the rumor is that Dallas gives up our 16th, 47th, next years 1st, plus Claiborne

Way I look at giving up 1st round picks are would you rather have Clowney or Tyron Smith AND Dez. No player except a Peyton Manning is worth sacrificing Tyron AND Dez which is the level you expect 1st round picks to turn out to.

I am just making a mock based on the rumor and what they would give:
16, 2015 1st and Claiborne
I didn't make the trade up myself.

The chances of Clowney becoming a pro-bowler based on position and being top five are higher than picking someone that will stay on the roster and perform at 16 the next two years and be a starter.

Staying at 16 and given that Donald and Barr are gone I would hopefully trade down. If not, then
pick Zack Martin.
