1. Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia
I watched a ton of vids on all of the top RB’s in this class and Gurley is clearly the best of the bunch and one of the best to come out in years. I think he will be available at 27 because of the knee. It will suck not having him for a little while but it’s worth the risk.

2. Grady Jarrett, DT, Clemson
Undersized 1-gapper with plus first step and quickness and sneaky strength. Jarrett is flying under the radar but I can see him going a lot earlier than people realize.

3. Steve Nelson, CB, Oregon St.
Scrappy and competitive CB that will fit nicely into Marinelli’s defense. Not a burner but has enough speed and displays polished footwork and fluid hips.

4. Za’Darius Smith, DE, Kentucky
Smith is a little raw but displays top-notch physical ability coupled with a strong work ethic and motor. I’m excited to see what Marinelli can get out this guy.

5. Kenny Bell, WR, Nebraska
I am hoping he lasts this long but a very competitive WR that can come right in and make an impact on ST’s. I love his nasty demeanor and the way he leaves everything out on the field.

7. Jerry Lovelocke, QB, Prairie View A&M
A developmental QB prospect with some eye popping intangibles. I recommend looking into this guy.

7. Rob Crisp, OT, N.C. State
A 6’7 “ 300 pound offensive tackle prospect with over 34” arms. A nice quick-footed athlete that needs a little work and some coaching love. Projected as a priority FA but I think he could go a little sooner than that; a good developmental candidate.

Thanx for reading!

I really like Jarrett. I think he will be a productive DT in the NFL. Maybe not a superstar, but a big contributor.

I would be pretty happy with the draft. probably switch where you took Jarrett and Nelson. I think Nelson goes in 2nd and Jarrett in the 3rd. Not a big fan of Bell though.

I like the 1st round.

That's it.

Everything else is bad.

Like, not even close to good.

Looks pretty good to me and everyone else so far...maybe you're opinion differs, but to say its bad is pretty ridiculous. You might want to rethink your opinions or watch them some more if you think Jarrett and Nelson wouldn't be good picks for our D.

I like it, though I don't know much about your last three picks.

Well, you got 3 of my pet cats (Gurley, Jarrett, and Za'Darius Smith) so yeah, I'd be very happy with that.

I'd be happier if you could have managed OLB Kendricks in the second and Jarrett in the 3rd. If the first 4 rounds of the draft for Dallas went:

1. Gurley
2. Kendricks
3. Jarrett
4. Z Smith

I'm pretty sure I would run around the block yelling and skipping. Possibly in my undies.
