1. Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia
I watched a ton of vids on all of the top RB’s in this class and Gurley is clearly the best of the bunch and one of the best to come out in years. I think he will be available at 27 because of the knee. It will suck not having him for a little while but it’s worth the risk.
2. Grady Jarrett, DT, Clemson
Undersized 1-gapper with plus first step and quickness and sneaky strength. Jarrett is flying under the radar but I can see him going a lot earlier than people realize.
3. Steve Nelson, CB, Oregon St.
Scrappy and competitive CB that will fit nicely into Marinelli’s defense. Not a burner but has enough speed and displays polished footwork and fluid hips.
4. Za’Darius Smith, DE, Kentucky
Smith is a little raw but displays top-notch physical ability coupled with a strong work ethic and motor. I’m excited to see what Marinelli can get out this guy.
5. Kenny Bell, WR, Nebraska
I am hoping he lasts this long but a very competitive WR that can come right in and make an impact on ST’s. I love his nasty demeanor and the way he leaves everything out on the field.
7. Jerry Lovelocke, QB, Prairie View A&M
A developmental QB prospect with some eye popping intangibles. I recommend looking into this guy.
7. Rob Crisp, OT, N.C. State
A 6’7 “ 300 pound offensive tackle prospect with over 34” arms. A nice quick-footed athlete that needs a little work and some coaching love. Projected as a priority FA but I think he could go a little sooner than that; a good developmental candidate.
Thanx for reading!
