Here are 2 quick mock draft scenarios I put together using the CBS rankings.
Projected Record: 3-13 (Currently projected #3 Overall)
1. Jared Goff-QB-Cal
Lynch is gone to Cleveland at #2. We take the QB of the future here. Only way this doesn't happen is if Bosa falls or Kellen Moore plays and shows promise at the end of the season.
2. Su'a Cravens-S/OLB-USC
Pure football player. High football IQ and can play OLB or SS. Most likely SS.
3. Alex Collins-RB-Arkansas
Hopefully he falls to the 3rd round. Most of you guys on here know about him already. Fits what Dallas does well in the run game.
4. Bralon Addison-WR-Oregon
Burner who can hopefully be a realiable return guy.
4. Eric Murray-CB-Minnesota
Big, lean, man-to-man corner who also plays well against the run. Versatile.
6. Antwaun Woods-DT-USC
1 Technique guy which we desperately need somebody to step in and be in this defensive scheme. I'm not certain he will actually fall to the 6th round though after pre-draft workouts.
Trade Back Draft:
Trade 2016 #3 Overall to Jets for 2016 #18 Overall, #49 Overall, and 4th rounder plus 2017 1st rounder and 2017 3rd rounder. Jets take Goff. This is similar to the Atlanta-Cleveland trade for Julio Jones. I don't think any franchise will be dumb enough to do what the Commanders did a couple years ago for RGIII anymore. After the trade, board looks like this:
1. Ezekiel Elliott-RB-Ohio State
2. Carson Wentz-QB-North Dakota St.
2. Josh Perry-OLB-Ohio State
3. Karl Joseph-S-West Virginia
4. Bralon Addison-WR-Oregon
4. Eric Murray-CB-Minnesota
4. Charles Tapper-DE-Oklahoma
I'd be interested in anyone else's thoughts on other trade back partners/scenarios/packages as well.
