3. Kevin Zeitler G-Wisconsin
4. George Iloka S -Boise St.
5. TY Hilton WR- Florida International
6. Matt Conrath DE- Virginia
6. Rhett Ellison TE-USC
7. Carmen Messina ILB-New Mexico

I love your first three picks, and Conrath is a productive sleeper with upside.

I liek it, I love the first three picks but I think Zeitler will be a 2nd or early 3rd by draft time. As for the 4thr ound pick, I would rather see Hilton there, I don't see him falling to 5th round, or Derek Wolfe or Kawann Short in the 4th.

Good mock. I like all picks except Ben Jones.

1. Chase Minnifield CB-Virginia
Good player that realistically could be available at the Boys pick.

2. Ben Jones C-Georgia
Great college player, but I think he has limited upside in the Pros. Reminds me of Costa.

3. Kevin Zeitler G-Wisconsin
Good pick if available. Could probably start day one, but upside might be slightly limited.

4. George Iloka S -Boise St.
Maybe not the most fluid pass defender, but faster than Church. Worth a shot in the 4th.

5. TY Hilton WR- Florida International
Good pick if available.

6. Matt Conrath DE- Virginia
Good developmental player. Probably minimal chance of making the 53 man roster in year 1 based on the current roster.

6. Rhett Ellison TE-USC
Need a TE somewhere in this draft.

7. Carmen Messina ILB-New Mexico
This guy is a tackling machine. If he runs well at Pro Day could go higher. ILB might be the position where the Boys need the most developmental players.

With 8 picks you might want to consider a QB.

Derek Wolfe is the guy I want in round 4. Tremendous player.

I watched Ratt get pushed back 10x yesterday..... we need to get a bigger and stronger at the NT to take on those double teams to allow ILB to roam to the ball.... Our DE's are fine but when they out weight your NT by 30lbs that is not a good sign

I watched Derek Wolfe vs UConn this weekend. Interesting player. He does not blow you away with either quickness or power but has a very good combination of the two.

You might be able to get him a little lower than the 4th, IMO.

How does he remind you of Costa? Costa has no power and Jones has all the power and strength. I don't see any similairties between the two. I see more Costa in Brewster than I see in Jones.
Konz is the only Center in this draft that has great potential but I think Jones has very very good potential. Even probowl potential.

He didn't blow you away.
He had 10 tackles and 2.5 sacks in one game. That is pretty damn good.

agree that Zeitler might not be there in the 3rd but love the first three picks.

From Bunting about Ben Jones:

Displays decent flexibility in his stance, but does snap and step quickly. Does a nice job getting into defenders over his face in the run game and consistently is able to use his athleticism to seal from the play and works hard to stick through contact. However, despite his size isn't a real gifted power player. Struggles to consistently keep his base down initially and will allow defenders to get under him and can be overwhelmed into the backfield. Gets overextended into blocks and will lunge at times causing him to lose his balance as he tries to create an initial surge off the ball. Exhibits above average range when asked to pull. Looks comfortable reaching targets off his frame in space, breaks down well, has a feel for the run game. Consistently locates, will finish on his man and is a "plus" run blocker on the move.

Sets quickly in the pass game and does a much better job playing with an anchor vs. the bull rush. Will get caught lunging at the point in to order to create more of a jolt, but quickly re-sets his feet and drops his base in order to hold the point. Needs to do a better job extending his arms into contact and delivering a more effective punch. Is too much of a catcher who waits to work his hands and gain leverage once engaged. Would like to see him be more of the aggressor with his hands. Nevertheless, he slides his feet well and can mirror through contact and for the most part in space.

Impression: I think he would be better suited to play guard at the next level because of his struggles to hold his own inside when asked to quickly snap, step and get a push in the run game. However, is a coordinated athlete on the move, can mirror through contact and looks like a potential starter. But isn't the type of top tier center prospect many are making him out to be at this stage.
