Both the receivers were on the board with Sanders, Seattle who has two 2nd round picks offered 52 to move up for T-Mac.

18-Golden WR Texas (Seattle traded up for my top receiver in T-Mac, but Cowboys still were able to land a target)
44-Williams NT Ohio State (with the UCLA LB off the board, top 3 RB's gone, took the best run NT in the class over filling CB)
52-Judkins RB Ohio State (with all the coaching changes, cannot see just a late back added)
76-Knight LB South Carolina (Mukuba went right before this pick, with Knight and Williams run defense has improved)
149-Smith RB SMU (the ideal complement, speed combo back to pair with Judkins for the future)
174-Ransaw CB Tulane (wanted to address the need earlier, but rather the NT over the corner, they would see it the other way around.)

76 was a CB available with some skills. Love the draft overall

Unfortunately, I think they will take the corner over the NT at 44. Wanted to take Mukuba as that Branch type, but he went a pick ahead of our 3rd rd pick.
I think it worked out really well still. I love the value of Knight and Ransaw more than Makuba and whatever LB is likely there.

I would cashapp you money for this. Crypto if thats your jam

CB.....the market is still fertile, so Im not as concerned about addressing it early in the draft

I'm one of the few that doesn't think we should go WR in the 1st period. I would look for the baddest DL or OL then go RB CB/S

It would for sure be a good draft.
Seattle would have to be pretty desperate to make that deal though. That’s 80 points light according to the draft chart…which our 2 5th’s wouldn’t even cover.

He would depend on how high they value t-Mac

Agree.
Not. realistic trade…at all.

But we’re just goofing off here anyway

Do you mind emailing this over to the FO?!

Slam dunk. Although in reality I can see them passing on the DT. I like Knight a lot. He’s an enforcer. Only problem is he’s 25…

You don't have any of the later picks on there, but if it happened like that, I'd probably spend at least one more pick on a CB to give us a better chance of hitting on one.

We really need to find a nickel corner with Lewis gone. I don't know what we're going to get from Elam, but with Diggs out for a while, he's probably going to have to play outside corner (which apparently better suits his abilities). I like how Butler looked in limited playing time last year and Carson could develop. Troy Pride also showed a little bit in the last game. Mukuamu is the only one we have who has had some success in slot, though. We also still have Andrew Booth, but if he sees the field, then we have failed miserably.

Well done, but I'll be fairly pissed if we trade down with Mcmillan on the board. It worked out this time though.

Ransaw has nickel experience
