Well it's certainly not terrible either! 4.6 is considered very fast for a 250lbs person, to see a 4.5 is incredible. This is why seeing that 240lbs 6'5 Calvin Johnson run a 2.35 is absolutely freakish.

Jarrett over Meachem and Houston

Jarrett is a better WR than Meachem and Houston is not worth a first rounder. This would be an easy seleciton if he was on the board.

Sam Hurd and Miles Austin...nice stories, but no way are they in the same league as Jarrett. He'd be an absolute steal at 22.

I think Suggs ran a 4.8 or 4.9 the year he came out. Seems he turned out OK.

Houston will be a 1st round pick, mark it down, with how fast CBs are nowadays, you're gonna need to have a WR who can seperate, and I'm just not sure Jarrett has that ability, he seemed to get stifled when teams manned up on him

Jarrett's problem is that he's had some great high profile games but when you look a little deeper, he's been shut down pretty effectively whenever he's faced an NFL caliber corner.

He lit up Michigan but most wasn't on Hall (who is vastly overrated in his own right), Houston shut him down and Hughes even held him in check.

Watching him, I'm not sure he has the quickness to get separation at the next level and I know he doesn't have the pure speed that garners instant respect. He reminds me of Keyshawn Johnson without Johnson's ability to use his body to fight for the ball.

Obviously Johnson's the number one WR prospect but I have Meachem, Rice, Jason Hill, Ginn all over Jarrett, with maybe even Gonzalez (check out his short shuttle time) ahead of him.

Though the Cowboys likely have more glaring needs at safety and the offensive line, Jerry Jones would be delighted to scoop up a talent like Jarrett with the 22nd pick. Dallas's passing game was among the league's best in '06. However, the Cowboys starting wideouts are not getting any younger. Terrell Owens is 33. Terry Glenn is 34. Jarrett didn't perform at the Combine due to a groin injury, but should be ready to go for USC's pro day. And with all the questions and comparisons to Mike Williams over the past week, be ready to see a man with a chip on his shoulder.

I think I would be pretty happy if we got Jarrett. In terms of talent hes amzing, just doesnt have the workout stats, but if we get him and he can work his butt off and slowly be worked into our lineup he could be a probowler in the future.
