i bet you cant wait to read this one.

1.just blalock-G-our interior lineman are laughable, it will be nice to have a franchise lineman ala larry allen.

2.Victor abiramiri-OLB- move carp inside and our lb are set for years. pressure from both sides! PRESSURE from someone other than ware.

3.Tony ugoh-OT- Big and mobile, has all the physical tools just has to put it together. enough of this b.s. we need to put together a good oline.

4.Gary Russel-RB- If not for school we could be talking about him as a 1st rounder, hes been out of football for a year but could really produce. often times looked better than maroney.

5.Travarous Bain-Cb- good height and fast, a little on the skinny side. Played for miami at one time but transferd to Hampton. a gifted player that could be a diamond in thr rough.

6.Ryan Moore-WR- Passes the eye test thats for sure. Big fast, has a couple run ins with the law. so never got the chance to put up big numbers because he was kicked off the team. someone will probably take a chacne on him.

7. Brian Smith-OLB- Got hurt so many havent heard about him but when he played he deffinetly produced. a late round steal like this would be amazing.

I love Blalock, but wonder if we don't go linemen 2nd/3rd round.

I like Abiamiri, but don't think he will fall to our pick in the second.

Like Ugoh, may go higher, but possible. We'll know more after the Senior Bowl.

Like Russell. This is about where I project him.

I like Bain. I have him higher (3rd) but think that corner has been devalued with the rule changes of late. So he may be available in the 5th round.

Don't like Moore. There's better options at this point. He has the size/speed you look for and plenty of potential, but....

I like Brian Smith at this pick, but it's not going to happen. I personally wouldn't take him until 6th/7th, but some team will take him as soon as the first day. He would have to show me something in a all-star game or the combine to warrant that kind of pick and I don't think he will. I think he will be slowed from the injury but still get drafted by a team taking a chance. What he does with that chance, who knows.

Abiramiri just seems to be slipping under everyones radar and thats why i put him in the second. with his weight being 271 i guess he coudl be a dend. but hes more of a 3/4 player and only a handfull run 3/4 so i guess im just hoping he falls.

Before i posted this i knew i put Ugoh to low, he coudl even go late first but as of right now thats where i think hes rated. will see after the senior bowl.

russel will be the man, he just needs to get the feel of things again.

bain will slip but could be a player

for some reason i like moore maybe just cuase of his size and speed. what are some of your suggestions for players?

hmm, brian smith will be around in the 5th i think. i cant see himi going that early unless he impresses like a beast at the combine.

Moore does have great size/speed. 6'3" 213+ at 4.45, but he has major concerns. Like being suspended, having 2 games added on and then 6 games by the coach. For his size/speed and in the 6th round you won't find anyone matching exactly, but someone like Laurent Robinson (6'2" 195 4.55), David Ball (6'2" 200 4.65) or Jarrett Hicks (6'3" 212 4.65) are close. Ball has very good hands and may creep up...

ball does indeed have great hands. Yes moore has been trouble but i believe in second chances.

Well, anyone that can break Jerry Rice's record of 50 TD catches in college didn't do too bad.

Ball: 4,655 yards and 58 TDs over 4 years
Moore: 1,370 yards and 10 TDs over 5 years

I would be very happy with that draft outside of the Russel pick

maroney-2005
