This is my 1st installment of my overall NFL Mock Draft, but also what the Cowboys will do in the circumstance that this happens.

1. Chiefs - Eric Fisher
2. Jaguars - Luke Joeckel
3. Raiders - Shariff Floyd
4. Eagles - Dion Jordan
5. Lions - Star Lotululei
6. Browns - Dee Milliner
7. Cardinals - Geno Smith
8. Bills - Ezekiel Ansah
9. Jets - Barkevious Mingo
10. Titans - Jonathan Cooper
11. Chargers - Chance Warmack
12. Dolphins - Lane Johnson
13. Bucs - Sheldon Richardson
14. Panthers - Xavier Rhodes
15. Saints - Jarvis Jones
16. Rams - Kenny Vaccaro
17. Steelers - Cordarrelle Patterson
18. Rams - Tavon Austin
19. Giants - Tyler Eifert
20. Bears - Arthur Brown
21. Bengals - Menelik Watson
22. Green Bay - DJ Fluker
23. Vikings - Desmond Trufant
24. Colts - Datone Jones
25. Vikings - Keenan Allen
26. Cowboys - Sylvester Williams
27. Houston - DeAndre Hopkins
28. Denver - Damontre Moore
29. New England - Robert Woods
30. Atlanta - Cornelius Carradine
31. San Francisco - Jonathan Banks
32. Baltimore - Kevin Minter

I have the Cowboys trading down twice. All of their 1st round grade guys are off the board, so they move down to pick up more depth in the 3rd and 4th rounds where there are a lot of good players to be had.

1st RD Pick - Sylvester Williams - DT - Choosing between Williams, Pugh and Cyprien here. All guys they have 2nd round grades on. Did not want to trade away 2nd or 3rd pick to move up. Like depth in draft. With Williams, they have a day 1 starter at the 1 technique which would slide Ratliff over to the 3. If Ratliff has injury issues, Hatcher can step in.

2nd RD - Justin Pugh - G/T
- Cowboys like the versatility of guys. He can slide over and start if Parnell struggles. But can also be a day 1 starter at guard. Much better prospect at guard. Hear a lot of comparisons to Andy Levitre. Hopefully he slides to us.

3rd RD - Andre Ellington - RB - Explosive RB who can carry the load if Murray gets injured.

3rd RD (Acquired through trade) - Chris Faulk - T - First round talent. Had many injury issues, but Garrett is going to the pro day to see how he is looking. Will compete with Parnell for starting tackle spot. Loser is the swing tackle.

4th RD - Sean Porter - WILB - Excellent prospect who can be key contributor on special teams as well as backup Bruce Carter.

4th RD (Acquired through trade) - JJ Wilcox - S - Assuming the Cowboys sign a veteran safety in the coming weeks (Barber or Huff), Wilcox can come in and compete with Matt Johnson for the future FS of the Cowboys. Both have good range.

5th RD - Dion Sims - TE - Had respectable numbers in the passing game, but more importantly an EXCELLENT run blocker. Best blocking tight end in draft, but can be decent in passing game as well.

6th RD - Denard Robinson - WR/Wildcat - Can be used as a key special teams player. Also in preparing for teams with wildcat. Can also be emergency QB and backup receiver.

Lions have Suh and Fairley in the middle and need a corner or a DE. Why would they pick Lotululei with Milliner and Ansah still on the board?

Good point. Was focusing more on BPA strategy. Focused more on cowboys part of it. Good chance all the offensive lineman and vaccaro will be off board. Tried to figure out what direction they could go

LOVE everything for the Cowboys except Sylvester Williams. I'd rather take Tank Carradine at #26.

I like it.

I'm a UNC fan and when Williams is focused (runs hot and cold) he is a stud.

Hear good things about Pugh and his versatility is a plus.

I've seen Ellington play quite a bit, only concern is he seems to have "nagging" injuries. Fear is he turns into another Felix. I like Ball, Bell, Franklin and Taylor over him. They all seem to be able to carry the load better for a longer period of time. I think we need that with Murray as #1 and him not being able to finish a full season.

Faulk looks like a Cowboy pick. Good talent and coming off injury. We need good OL players.

Out of the rest, I would not want Robinson, don't see him turning into a good WR or RB and would not want to have him fill a position only as a KR/PR, which I don't think he is the best at.

Good draft

Give me Swearinger (FS) in the 3rd in place of Ellington and we have a deal

then pick up a RB with the 4th rd pick where oyu got Wilcox, tere will be good RBs available there

FS is a huge need and we need a starter at FS not someone who is a project

Swearinger would start day 1

I have seen Williams ranked as low as rd 3 while others have him as the best DT in the draft.

Good draft but I think you waited a little too long to address the safety position.

I would have traded down as well, missing out on Watson, I see.

I agree with the Williams pick in this scenario. I have him as a late first rounder (just like Watson).

Thanks for a full first round mock. :)

I would rather stay at 18 and get DJ Fluker in this scenario.

Nice effort. I like that you show all of the picks ahead of #18 and #26 for reference.

Trading down is a good option under the circumstances.

S. Williams
Good pick here.

Justin Pugh I'm not a big fan of this player. His arms are really short (31.5") for an OT and somewhat short for a Guard. He has terrific foot quickness, but minimal power, IMO.

Andre Ellington
Good.

Chris Faulk
Good player. He could probably play OG also.

Sean Porter
He is a decent looking player in the games that I've seen. It's good for him that he improved his forty from 4.75 at the combine to 4.63 at his Pro-Day. I'm not sure that he is the best player available here, but probably not too far off either.

JJ Wilcox
He appears to have the required athleticism; however, I will be shocked if they don't draft a Safety earlier.

Dion Sims
He is projected to get picked a little earlier. Good pick otherwise.

Denard Robinson
OK.
