Okay, throwing a different trade scenario out there. Assuming AJ Green is gone before we pick, San Diego may want to trade up for Julio Jones (I'm assuming they'll pick up an extra pick when they deal Vincient Jackson). According to the value chart we would get a 2nd and 5th, but I would do the deal for a 2nd.
1.) Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin
Been pretty constant with how much I want Dallas to draft him. I think he gets knocked because he doesn't have the quickest feet, but he has everything else you want in a LT.
2a.) Allen Bailey, DL, Miami
Right now in my 2 round mock, I have Clayborn, Heywood and Bailey as high 2nd rounders and I really think on draft day we'll have a shot at one of these guys. Bailey is the best pass rusher out of the group, and more than the other two, remind me of Jay Ratliff.
2b.) Quinton Carter, FS, Oklahoma
I think no saftey goes in round 1, and we just miss out on top safety Rahim Moore. Carter should prove to be a solid player at FS and could possibly even bulk up a bit and play SS if Akwasi Owus-Ansah is ready in 2012 (2011 ain't happin).
3.) John Moffit, OG, Wisconsin
We need atleast 1 guard who can start very early. Hopefully we sign a starting quality guard in free agency (Logan Mankins) and Moffit can unseat Kosier when he's able to.
4.) Casey Matthews, ILB, Oregon
I'm fairly certain he won't be here when we pick, but if he is, I'd take him. I think he plays physical enough and tough enough to play the LILB position and excell at it.
5.) Jake Kirkpatrick, C, TCU
Another guy who may not be available here. Solid center prospect that can take over for Gurode in about 2 years.
6.) Mike Blanc, DL, Auburn
Solid d-line prospect. Right now we know Hatcher and Bowen are averege at best, so hitting on a guy like Blanc may allow us to trade either Hatcher or Bowen for a pick.
7.) John Clay, RB, Wisconsin
Doesn't have great speed, but could prove to be a good goaline back
