1 - Jonathan Cooper
2 - Sylvester Williams
3 - Tank Carradine
4 - D.J. Swearinger
5 - Ricky Wagner
6 - Zach Line

  • Sylvester Williams is hard to read. Reminds me of Andre Branch's stock last year. All over the place.
  • I've accepted the fact that one of the guards will be there at 18, I just hope we take one.
  • Tank Carradine is too good of a value to pass up on in Round 3. Cowboys aren't afraid to redshirt players.
  • Swearinger in the 4th is good value, I still don't think this is an absolute need in the draft.
  • Wagner provides depth and possible competition for RT. Had a poor Senior Bowl but comes from OL University
  • Generic running back needs to be drafted. I like Zach Line.

If our draft ends up like this, I will find you, I will drive to your house. And I will give you my car.

It'd be a dream come true. Which means it won't happen.

No way JJ goes guard in the first round. Not an impact position.

Change 1st rounder to Richardson and 2nd rounder to Warford and we'll have a more accurate draft.

That's be a great haul. I actually had the same first 3 in a mock I was working on.

Until Richardson's character issues check out, I don't see the Cowboys touching him.

Agree.

If Richardson's character issues check out, then he gets drafted before #18, IMO.

If Richardson' character issues don't check out, then the Cowboys won't draft him.

Looks good.

I'm not a big fan of Wagner, but it's the 5th round. I might prefer some guys with more upside like Terron Armstead or Manase Foketi.

Tank Carradine (6-4, 265) is a good player. I'm curious where his best fit would be in Kiffin's defense. I don't know if he has the elite quickness of the Weak-Side DE in Kiffin's scheme. He can probably play the Strong-Side DE, but will need to bulk up.

Do you see Zach Line as a RB or FB?

I'm not sure how I feel about the cowboys and character issues anymore. I would love to get Richardson at 18 and warford at 47. They did draft Dez.

Dez Bryant would not have been drafted on a Jason Garrett head coached team.

5th for Wagner would be a steal. I like Manase Foketi a lot (I work in the LSC). I just like a starter from a big time university versus small school. Look how much Amini Silatolu struggled this year, and he was taken in the 2nd round.

I believe that Carradine has enough quickness to play WDE. This guy was a mid-1st round pick and his injury knocks him down.

Nowhere near a finished product but possesses a lot of natural ability and upside in this department. Can learn to anticipate the snap count better and cut down on initial wasted motion. However, he displays a quick and explosive first step. Fires off the ball low with leverage. Shows above-average flexibility and can dip and bend to flatten out when turning the corner. Flashes explosive upper body power and can convert speed-to-power. Displays quick hands to counter but needs refinement with hands in terms of being more compact and efficient. Flashes instincts in this department and has an innate ability to finish the rush once feeling blockers leaning one way. Closing burst is very good and can get home when getting into the clear. Can deliver a violent and heavy shot when able to line up quarterbacks.

I see Line as a 3rd and short back who can provide some catches out of the backfield. I don't know why people view him as a FB, probably because he is white and big.

Freshman - 7 TDs on 49 carries, 10 receptions for 86 yards

Sophomore - 1,494 yards, 10 touchdowns, 17 catches/163 yards

Junior - Missed last 3 games, 1,224 yards, 17 touchdowns, 15 catches/139 yards

Senior - 1,278 yards, 13 touchdowns, 33 catches/229 yards

Production, production, production.

IMO it would be between Chris Faulk LSU OT and Tank in the third rd depending on how thing turned in the first two rounds. Just nitpicking

I wouldn't mind that at all, actually. Faulk in the 3rd would be a steal. I have him gone before our 3rd round pick, however.

In the 3rd round, we're talking about Menelik Watson and Brennan Williams.

I used to think this. I think the bigger thing for Garrett is whether or not they love football. Richardsons character issues don't point to that IMO.
