I like the McPhee signing but have concerns about Benardrick McKinney. I need to watch more game footage, but the scouting reports list pass coverage as a possible issue. If I draft a 4-3 LB in the 1st, then I want a guy that is super-duper in pass coverage.

I like the McPhee signing. He has experience playing 3-4 OLB, 4-3 DE and 4-3 DT. I would really like him inside with Crawford in 2015.

Yeah, I left out Parnell who I believe will be the starter at RT in 15. As far as RB goes we have 3 under contract for next season and maybe Robinson battles for that 3rd spot.

Drafting someone like Smith pretty much gives the same thing as far as being abme to slide in to the DT spot on occassion.

he stands out in the bull dog games i have seen but he looks like Mclain lite and thats not a good thing in terms of coverage.He looks good against the run but kind of stiff.

think we need to keep 2 of the 3 LBs. I'm actually rather resign Carter now than mcClain. His concussion issues scares me.

If your going to draft a a CB in the 4th then you better bring in someone else or keep Carr. Reling on Mo, Moore and Patmon to start would be awful.

I like your draft picks, I think Smith will rise.

Also you should look at signing Paea for the 1 tech. He's a Marinelli guy.

Isn't Robinson from Miss St??

Moore can contribute just fine. He was in on plenty of snaps with Scan, Carr and Patmon. In my mock Carr is being replaced by Mo.

Wasn't Moore playing almost all season? Mo and Moore get the oustide WR and Scandrick can get back into the slot. CB's weren't as a big of an issue. Our pass rush hurt us on pass defense. With shoring up the ends with three players I mentioned will aleviate pressure from the CB's.

I would be ok with the platoon of CB's we have with an improved pass rush.

yeah when they switched to nickel, thats different than playing every snap. Mo and Moore had thier issues to. They are fine as a 3 but not a starting 2.

The RB group will be fine. We can platoon those guys and finally maximize Randle-Dunbar(if he beats out Robinson).

I disagree on all those. Also we don't even know if MO is going to be healthy bby the start of the season. It takes along time to recover form a pattela tendon

What makes you think Gunter couldn't start? Or Patmon for that matter. We have 3 CBs playoff tested and Mo and Gunter as well. You can focus all the attention on the DBs but my mock focuses heavily on gaining 3 pass rushers on top of Lawrence getting a full TC in, a LB, CB and a FS. Overall it improves the defense with not having to break the bank so it helps me alot.
