Cut/Be gone: Colombo, Barber, Davis, Brooking, Igor, Sensy, Kosier, Hatcher, Roy Williams

We are supposed to have money to spend even w/o those cuts. Who knows how they moved the moneys around but these guys Im cutting have contracts of $4M-$7M per year. My projections that I am just making up say we are opening up at least $20M next year

Sign Logan Mankins: Just do it
Sign Tyson Clabo - RT
Sign Bryan Leonard - FB who can catch and pick up blitzes. He lead the way for Ray Rice in college so solid lead blocking
Sign Antoine Bathea - I think we have more to spend than Indy

1. Andrew Luck - Carolina - Take the money dummy
2. Daquan Bowers- Denver -
3. AJ Green -Cincy - They dont give up on Palmer but do get him help
4. Cam Newton -Arizona/SF - People arent factoring this guy in. Hes a huge star, has tons of upside, and there are tons of teams who need QB's
5. Patrick Peterson - Dallas - Hes my sleeper in this draft

2nd round - Von Miller - OLB -Texas A&M
- W/ the line shored up in FA they can take what appears to be a luxury. However w/ the greatness that is Ware performing at a high level 16 games a season no one of the young group is emerging as a pass rushing threat. Miller compiled 17 sacks as a junior and 22 TFL.

3rd - Kristofer O' Dowd C- USC - Our pro-bowl center can block but cant snap. So now we draft a center and let them battle it out in TC. If O' Dowd shows something then he can take over RG for Holland

4th - Bruce Carter ILB- UNC - Freak athlete in the middle of a loaded UNC defense.....er when they actually played. ACL surgery drops his stock. We cam afford to wait a bit on him. Frankly, I think this is a huge steal. He looked like a top 20 pick to me.

5th - Matt Szczzcczur - Everything - Villanova - Return man to keep Dez fresh. Also a slot WR and potential 3rd RB

6th - Cedric Thornton- DE - Central Arkansas - Think we are fine at nose. Rat is awesome and dont forget it. Price is rotation worthy at worst.

Trade the 7th for a 6th next year

Nothing short of awesome if we could land both Peterson and von Miller. I'll believe it when I see it. Too much wishful thinking. Then again, who thought Dez would slide to 24?

And just imagine if PSU OL Wisniewski would drop to the top of the 3rd.

I like where your head's at regarding Bethea. One problem, though. He signed a 4-year extension in June.

I would love to get Sczsur. Saw him play in the I-AA playoffs. Dude's a player.

Why trade a 7th this year for a 6th next year, and get nothing from it for this year? Is that your way of saying you coulnd't think of anyone to take at that spot? :p:

Miller in the 2nd would be a miracle. Same with Carter in the 4th. Would love for both to happen though.

Someone was saying Bathea is a FA. W/E then Atogwe who should probably be cut

That ACL is a killer, a 3rd rounder on a guy who wont be ready for a while may be tough for some teams to take.

Miller is a 1st rounder. I like your thinking though - Spencer needs to be replaced!

You need to remove Columbo off that list, and possibly even Igor. At 1.9 millions, the Cowboys aren't going to get a RT with the experience to a least provide depth any cheaper so he'll stay. He'll probably not start, but he'll stay.

Depending on what they do with Hatcher, Bowens, and Spears, Igor will stay too, especially if they chose not to bring those 3 back, but that in itself is a long shot. Realistically, they'll resign Bowens and Hatcher since they're still restricted free agents.

You missed out on the most expensive one of them all, however: Terrence Newman. He's scheduled to make 8 million dollars next season and right now he's not worth half of that, much less next season when he'll be a year older.

No reason at all for Colombo to be on the roster next year. He is not as good as Sam Young no matter what next season.

I see no discernible difference between Igor and Bowens/Hatcher. Both of them will come cheaper so I think they will bring at least one of them back. And I take it you are w/ me on re-signing Spears. No need to open up a hole there.

Right now we dont know which way Jenkins is going to go. Cutting Newman and having Jenkins revert to 201o form could be disastrous. They can move some moneys around and lower Newmans number and keep him around another year. Once again, no need to create holes when theres already so many
