Basing this on Walter Football 7 round mock and adding some trades http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/draft2011.php

Dallas trades a 1 (9th) to St Louis for there 1st (14th), 3rd (78th) and 5th
(145th) The Rams get the guy they wanted and keep thier 2nd and 4thd round picks. Dallas couldn't pull off a trade to pickup a 2nd round pick without falling too far.
  • Dallas 9th =1350
  • Rams 14th= 1100
  • Rams 78th= 200
  • Rams 145th = 35
1.14 Tyron Smith OT- He can step in day one and has the potential to move to the left side, He's the best player at his position.

At 40 Harris, Ballard, Hudson, Watkins, and Moore are all on the board. The secondary depth is poor and I actually thought about trading up for Williams. We don't get cute although it's tempting to drop a few spots.

2.40 Rahim Moore FS- He's a guy that can make a play and make a QB wonder a little. He tackles better than many suggest he's smart and instinctive.

At 71 we misssed a guy or two we liked and it's a little early for the guys we want. OT's are starting another run and the Colts call. They Give (3) 87 and 4 (119).

3.78 Kenrick Ellis NT- We've got a wide body many of us have wanted this for years. Value pick, you don't pass up big bodies that can do what he can. If he puts it all together.

3.87 Kelvin Sheppard ILB- Bradie gets a Tiger to tutor. Value pick

4.110 John Moffitt OG - We get our mean and nasty up front, He's are new Columbo, but he's not as exposed on the edge. I wanted to trade up to the bottom of the third for him but had no takers.

4.119 Noel Devine RB- This will give the offense a little different look and teams will have to account for his speed.

I package 176 (6th) and the 145th I got from the Rams to Carolina's 132

5.132 Lawrence Guy DE- Once he gets in an NFL wieght room I think he'll pan out.

5.145 Henry Hynoski FB - Someone to open some holes and bring some physicality to the position.

I think your 7th rounders will be CB's, The CB depth is poor and they will go higher than they should. I think if you're concerned with CB. You better take Prince and hope no one before you does.

There are alot of pet cats in it seems. I didn't help the secondary much I figure we keep Newman, Jenkins should get back and Scandrick is a good slot guy (outside of Steve Smith)

I think I took guys who will be one the field this year either starting or rotating in.

I'd take that.

I think Smith will be Gone by then though.

Very nice draft; one question, though, how can we get Hynoski at 145 when you packaged it to move up (132)? Just wondering; can we still get Hynoski with our very next pick?

Yea we'd actually get him with our 143rd I traded the Rams pick we got... good catch.

I like every pick but Moore. I would pick Harris. Just not a big fan of Moore and I think we sign Huff when this CBA thing gets done. Plus I am confident that ASO will pan out.

Similar mock bresitis.

I can't wait for the draft because we will not draft this way.
