1.Cason
-Manningham; would like to trade this away for RW
2.Jamaal Charles
3.Slaton if he falls this far. Don't think so. So best value on our board here.
4. Frank Okam
It a rough draft. This is just the basic idea I got going through my head. I would be happy with walking away with a few of these players.
Bowman later rounds also along with a kid named Marcus Smith. I watched alot of him, could be worth a pick.

if we could get Manningham in the 2nd, even better

he might be one of those guys like last year that we were hoping would fall to us in the 2nd, but a run on WRs takes him before us

Bowman might have improved his draft status. If I recall that he had a very good pro day but then again where he was, he could only go up.

trade up for DMAC and dust off the trophy case for #6

Never get there with the secondary we have, have to go with at least two corners with this years draft, can't afford to give up the picks unless were giving up next years :)

Please no. I love DMac but he is no sure thing and the price to pay will be just to steep.

Cason is fine if our top CBs are gone.

I'd love to have RW. But Manningham is a 2nd round pick (maybe later?), so this is a stretch, I think. I like him alot--he is failry polished and reminds me a bit of M Harrison--but his speed is a question mark. Plus we really want a deep threat to replace Glenn.

J Charles AND Slaton. Sorry bro...I don't see your logic here at all. Maybe CB . Plus, I see Slaton as the 8th or 9th best back....so he could be had in Rd 4 or later...speculation on my part.

Okam at 4 is not bad if his values fits it and our 4th Rd value CBs or WRs are gone.

Trade up for Dmac and we'll still need a future #1 W.R. and future #1 C.B., etc. and his contract will be huge that could be used to resign players like Hamlin and Canty and Barber (could sign all 3 for the price of McFadden), if we do this, it would set us back for #6 in our trophy case, ONE PLAYER isn't gonna win a superbowl for us, it takes a TEAM!
I'd rather sign Canty/Barber/Hamlin PLUS two #1 picks signed for JUST MCFADDEN'S contract, not to mention wed have FIVE GREAT PLAYERS with the cap spread out to FIVE different positions also instead of one POTENTIALLY GREAT player.

I'd PUKE if we trade up for DMAC!

He didnt' run a great 40 at the combines, but make NO MISTAKE, Manningham IS a DEEP THREAT regardless of his 40 time at the combines!
I'd like to trade up in round 2 or trade down from pick #28 to get himi cause I think we'd get more value that way, but I really like him!

J Charles AND Slaton. Sorry bro...I don't see your logic here at all. Maybe CB .

I like Charles, I have Slaton as a 3rd round ranking and we do need 2 R.B.'s out of this draft, just not sure I'd use a 2nd AND a 3rd on a R>B. becuase we already have a pro-bowler starting at the position, a little overkill, I wouldn't mind him if he's still there round 4 though, or a different R.B. in round 5 that could return kicks.

Plus, I see Slaton as the 8th or 9th best back....so he could be had in Rd 4 or later...speculation on my part.

Well, you got 3 R.B.'s in round 1 with Mendenhall/Dmac/Stewart (assuming he's still 1st rounder), and possibly Felix Jones going in round 1.
Round 2 you got guys like Ray Rice/Charles/CJ.
Our pick ion round 3 is at the bottom of the round, so if we don't pick a R.B. with our 1st or 2nd rounders (whch would be fine with me) I coudl see us taking Slaton in round 3.

I'm thinking Forte and Smith and maybe T Choice may also go before Slaton. In any case, if we grab Charles and had to take another RB later, I may take a guy like the Choice if he's there in the 4th. I'd prefer to not take two though...who knows if I'm right.
