CB CJ HENDERSON
FLORIDA

The loss of Byron makes CB the biggest need. CJ had a great combine and seems to have separated himself from the other CB options.

S ANTOINE WINFIELD
MINNESOTA

Finally a ball hawk at s.

82: R3P18

DL ROSS BLACKLOCK
TCU

Another major need.

120: R4P17

EDGE KENNY WILLEKES
MICHIGAN STATE

Sneaky good Edge rusher.

164: R5P18

LB CAM BROWN
PENN STATE

LB position needs some insurance and can help on special teams.

179: R5P33

S ALOHI GILMAN
NOTRE DAME

Depth at S and more special teams help.

231: R7P17

DL BENITO JONES
MISSISSIPPI

Fat boy 1 tech to help in short yardage situations.

I would sign Dez to a one year cheap contract with no guarantees. I would resign Anthony Brown for cheap.I would sign Lee for one more year. I would resign Cobb as long as the price doesn't get too expensive. I give David Irving a shot on the cheap. I renegotiate Crawford with a substantial pay cut.I cut Flemming. Dak and Amari aren't going anywhere. Cutting Flemming and renegotiating Crawford allows room to resign Quinn.

Very nice! Although I would think Elliott would be the pick in the 3rd, Henderson and Winfield in the 1st and 2nd looks like one of my mocks. Loved how you went with guys along the DL that can bring some heat. Willekes, Robinson or Hightower work for me. I even like the Benito Jones pick. He's the more athletic and productive version of Leki Fotu and can actually get pressure and make plays in the backfield on occasion.

Elliott works for me. I just went with the highest rated available in the simulation. I think the DL would be greatly improved and I even forgot to put Trysten Hill on the depth chart. Safety goes from concern to stacked.

Sorry but CJ Henderson is no go for me,he is so bad at tackling .not only is he bad at it but he actually seems scared of tackling if you watch some of his games on youtube.

I would even love Ross Blacklock in the 2nd round.

i would love that draft class.
and i am a fan of the double dip at DT.
Willekes needs to be in the discussion more...he looks like a Cowboy.
not knowing how the board unfolds by 51...Antoine Winfield is becoming my favorite for that pick.
CJ Henderson is a no-brainer at 17...just looks like a Cowboy.
solid,A+ mockin' there.

So was D Sanders ..

I’d be good with this knowing resigned Quinn.

Just not sure Blacklock will be there in the 3rd.

Would have liked to see us take a receiver in the 5th to develop. Such a deep group of talent seems like a waste not to take advantage.

I haven't personally watched any of his tape but this seems to be the consensus on his tackling. That would worry me .... a lot .... especially at 17.

I really feel like the board is going to be at the drop off point just before it gets to 17. If we can slide back some & get say three picks between 28 & 60, feels like we should come out with some good players.

it's a real shame because he is very good cover guy ,sticks to guys like glue.

agree. can you imagine this board the first time he whiffs on an easy tackle though?

Not saying I wouldn't draft him ...... just that it sounds like the same complaint we have heard before about previous & current players.

I actually think it's been the reverse. I reckon we've drafted good tacklers at LB and in the secondary for as long as I can remember.

i was referring to people questioning the tackling of secondary. Either willingness or bad angles.
