If we traded Bennett and used Dickerson as a TE I could see us taking the FB out of Kentucky. Either way, I think Cricket is gone.

Because of his recent legal issues? I was under the impression the team was happy with his on-field performance.

Love it! The only pick I question is Dickerson simply because I'd prefer a safety/de there, but I couldn't argue the rest.

Yeah, because of the gun thing. I think it pissed the team off.

Well, the stuff that M Bennett does, I wish the team Jerry Jones, Stephen and players would very graphic like show M Bennett they are fed up with is antics etc... and tell him in no uncertain tones, they are pissed like at him and he better get it in gear and focus on football and forget this twittering, phone stuff etc... Or he is Mud!

Jones' silence on Anderson is deafening.
He's not really silent though. Bringing in Conner from Kentucky spoke pretty loudly. So did the reports of us perking up when Dickerson was working out and that we viewed him as a FB. There is stone cold silence on Cricket, but rumblings about the future that don't seem to include Cricket.

Marty B hasn't done anything nearly as bad as Deon Anderson.

The only thing Marty has against him is he is immature and outspoken to which I could care less.

Hes a good guy and a great talent so I doubt they get rid of him unless they view him as a distraction / bad influence.

I'm sorry, but there is simply no comparison of stupidity between joking around with your friends on youtube and twitter as opposed to allegedly pulling a gun on someone and then trying to hide it in the bushes.

Simply no comparison. Your anger is misplaced.

yeah but dbair, the cowboys did look at mccluster

Alot of teams "looked" at him, and we "looked" at alot of players, doesnt mean they, or we will take them. Somebody will, but I dont think it will be us, especially in the 2nd round.

and mccluster would be so dangerous with choice in the razorback, cathing passes out of the backfield on 3rd down or in the slot, along with returning punts, kickoffs, remember dbair felix isnt going to return kickoffs this year;

McCluster's been at his best as a RB, we dont have a spot for another RB that would be active on game days. He is a projection anywhere else, including returner. He hasnt done alot of it and wasnt very good at it when he did.

its true dickerson isnt a legitimate fb, but we dont need him playing fb all the time, just on certain occassions, what you can do is put dickerson also in the slot, (crayton's position- this is where you can trade crayton for a 3rd in the draft, maybe with a 7th too), and put dickerson also at wr some, he has played wr, and he caught 7, yes thats right 7 TDs in the red zone last year, just what we need, with his 4.4 speed, no linebacker or safety can stay with him, (He will also push the heck out of Bennett too, something that Bennett needs big time to get him to work)

He's another one thats I'm suspicious of in regards to his workout numbers. He certainly showed no abiluty to get downfield at Pitt, and virtually every write up on him says the same thing. Its great that he's caught some redzone tds, but we already have 3 TE's here who can be tremendous redzone weapons, if the QB chooses to throw them the ball and the coordinator designs routes for them to be utilized down there. He's a liability as a blocker, so IMO he cant really be much mroe than an H-Back.

thats why im hoping we can get a 3rd and possibly a 7th for Crayton, and get another super player like dickerson

Your out of your mind thinking Dickerson can replace what Crayton does offensively right now.

were very close to being dominant, but need just a few players, like with that extra 3rd we could get a Jason Fox and with that 7th we could get a geathers or a big fullback or speester WR like kelton tindal or trindon holliday - gordon banks to help out on special teams kickoffs and punt returns

CJ, why would we want Brandon Banks or Holliday if we have Mccluster returning?

I didnt say he did anything bad, he hasnt, but his silly antics, twittering, saying he would pay like a $1000 to choose a woman or whatever, to me he spends more time twittering, on boards, messages then he is about football,

Bennett needs to be pushed hard by Phillips, and possibly dickerson, to kick his little rear end to be the player he could be

Would LOVE this draft. Allows us to get better at positions of need, and getting great value in the later rounds. I really hope Iupati is there; I believe he's our guy. McCluster is a guy we need for special teams and Jerry might see him as a "WOW" player like Felix was. All in all..I'd be thrilled with this draft.

MartyB did just fine blocking in the 12 which is 50% of our offensive snaps. He's going nowhere.

And you can't replace his work with either Phillips and esp not with Dickerson who is too small to be an everydown blocking TE. Especially when you consider that is 50% of the offense.

Dickerson can be an occasional blocking TE and would be a good FB. He'd be an occasional Hback. I think he'd be a plus receiving out of the backfield. That's not something we've had since Anderson and he wasn't a true FB.
