So no Patrick Peterson?

I'll try again. The Bills are tough. The top 5 is still not settled.

1. Panthers- Fairley (5 technique or DT in 43)
2. Broncos- Bowers (Fox)
3. Bills - Newton (Tickets/Need)
4. Bengals- Peterson (if Joseph walks/defensive coach)
5. Cardinals- Green (Fitzgerald doubled/not any more)
6. Browns- Jones (Holmgren/West Coast X)
7. 49ers- Jordan (fits their scheme and the coach knows him)
8. Tenn- Gabbert
9. Dallas- Dareus

I can't see the 49ers taking Dareus over Jordan if it goes down like this. Could Dareus really fall? I wanted to put Smith or Sherrod at 9 so bad.

1. Panthers- Fairley
2. Broncos- Bowers
3. Bills- Newton
4. Bengals- Green
5. Cardinals- Dareus
6. Browns- Jones
7. 49ers- Jordan
8. Titans- Peterson
9. Cowboys- Smith/Sherrod

Ha. I almost did it for you, but I'll let you do it. I think Julio Jones is going top 10. Bunting has him in there. He is a safe pick. I know the Titans GM would jump all over Peterson. They could sign a vet and pick a QB in the early 2nd round or trade back up into late round one and draft one.

The Titans GM would jump on Peterson if he isn't forced by the owner to pick a QB at 9.

Just wanted to be clear.

There's really know way I can know for sure, but if Quinn is there I don't see the Cowboys passing on him. This is assuming his workouts go as well as anticipated.

lol, well I guess the way I did it I ended up giving us a shot at Peterson, I rewrote it a few times, thought I gave him to someone aheaed of us. Oh well.

I really do think the premium will be on pass rushers and DL early though.

1. Panthers- Gabbert
2. Broncos- Fairley
3. Bills - Green
4. Bengals- Bowers
5. Cardinals-Miller
6. Browns- Quinn
7. 49ers- Jordan
8. Tenn- Peterson
9. Dallas-Trade down otherwise Sherrod

CAR- AJ Green

Creative at least!

I too have a feeling someone might go for Gabbert in the top 10.

One thing though, I very seriously doubt that new Panthers HC and defesnive wiz Ron Rivera takes a WR with the 1st overall pick--especially with guys like Fairley and Bowers sitting there.

I do like Peterson going to us before Cincy--who has maybe the second best CB tanden in the league (and Joseph wants to stay in Cincy).

Good qualifier. :D

Unless they trade for a starter-quality QB, they HAVE to take a QB.

Collins is fine for a year if you thought there was any way he could make it all the way through in one piece, but few teams are now in need of a QB more than Tenn.

This is an ideal year to find one. I guess they could go for Ponder or someone a round or two later?

1. Panthers - Fairley (2nd biggest need; GM likes him)
2. Broncos - Dareus/Bowers (need DT but impact DE ok)
3. Bills - Cam Newton (GM wants franchise impact player)
4. Bengals - Gabbert (surprise; run on QB starts)
5. Cardinals - Bowers/Von Miller/Quinn (defense needed)
6. Browns - AJ Green or Peterson (WR biggest need; or CB)
7. 49ers - Peterson or other BPA (stud CB is BPA)
8. Tenn - Jake Locker or Ryan Mallet (QB is biggest need)
9. Dallas - Quinn or Von Miller will fall to us

Yea but Green is a bonafied prospect, he will be a star. Fairley and Bowers were both 1 year wonders, that's a bit of a gamble for the #1 pick. Green grades out higher than both Fairley and Bowers and fills a greater need for Carolina. Plus if they want to really find out if Clausen can be their guy they ought to give him some weapons. Their offense was dead last in the NFL.

Quinn or Miller at #9 if it's a Defensive Players it would be Cam Jordan or Prince if they decide OL than it's a Trade down

I really don't think Sherrod is a good value at all at #9. Some scouts think he could be had in the early second.
