All this talk of trading up for Patrick Peterson... ridiculous.

First, convince the media that, in a lockout, the draft cannot occur until May due to stipulations proceeding from negotiations in arbitration, extending rights of due process of both parties, and changing the venue of CBA mediation to Oahu for April 28th henceforthwith, allegedly.

A little tricky, but well worth the payoff. Forget to cancel the reservations at Radio City Music Hall.

#9 Patrick Peterson CB, LSU
#40 Marcel Dareus DT, replace Ratliff at Nose, move Ratliff to a DE spot.
#71 Da Quan Bowers, Clemson. Too many DE's up for FA this year
#110 Marcus Cannon, TCU... We need a guard
#143 Von Miller Texas, OLB Need to reload at LB opposite Ware
#176 Rahim Moore S Safety position NEEDS some serious help
#220 Mike Pouncey, G. A youthful set of road graders will help immensely.
#252 Tyron Smith OT, USC. Rumors about this wild party will cause his draft stock to plummet.

Tongue in cheek of course, but building this is actually very revealing as to what the greatest needs are in Dallas. You probably disagree with a pick or two, so make your own! Would you get a WR instead, there's some pretty good ones! Which players are the best fit for Dallas?

You can't trade for additional picks, because all the GM's are out at Wakiki...

I'd be furious if this was our draft

We're probably going to need to use #40 on Rahim Moore.

Forget Dareus with our 2nd rounder.

Remember 3-4 DE's are a dime a dozen and we can probably wait till the 7th round to find one.

Better to get the safety.

Or better yet. Peterson goes to safety also. Cause he's 219 lbs and should be more a safety than a corner.

Just for the record, Von Miller is a stinkin Aggie not a Longhorn....

I dont really like Rahim Moore, anyone else you draft instead, maybe a Brandon Harris?

Also, anyway to squeeze in a small trade down to accrue another pick so we can draft Mark Ingram?

Oh and if I did take a WR in this draft it would be Julio Jones in the 7th.....

Your post is exactly why I made this thread. You think, if money.... er.... draft points were no object

You think this....

Rahim Moore is not the best Safety prospect. We need a 2 corners, one who can play safety more than a 2nd guard
And we need an RB more than, say an OLB?

how would you construct the draft if you could only pick 8 of the best players?

You got Tyron going a little early. Everyone else seems reasonable. I would take A.J Green with the 252 pick.
