I averaged 6 mocks from CBS (NFLDS) and EPSN together. Here are the results:

With a quick wr like Tavon Austin, Tony won't need an offensive line.

Since Tavon Austin is the best player in the history of the draft, they can just direct snap it to him. They won't even need Romo.

I don't understand the ranking for Prisco. He doesn't have Fluker or Allen in his top 32?

Definitely not saying Austin is the best player in the draft, but after watching his highlights he is a beast. I would think if all top 5 OL are gone, top DL are gone and Vacarro. It will be interesting to see if we do not pull the trigger on him.

It would come down to Austin, Fluker, Short and possibly Lacey. As crazy as it sounds, they may be the BPA at 18 for the Cowboys. I would be listening to the phone calls if this happens.

But in the case we did draft Austin, I would be thrilled for that type of playmaker on our team.

Who knows maybe even Tank could be a possibility if he ever can run before the draft and runs well. He has been impressing in his showings thus far.

Cooper 2.5 spots ahead of Warmack, even if Kirwan ruined his stock.

If Werner is available at 18 I would sprint to the podium and start scheming on 47.

The latest Mock on NFL.com today has Dallas taking Werner.
FWIW

Why do you like him so much? Just curious.
And where would play him...rotate with Spencer?

JMO,
But I would suspect that they rotate him with Spencer because if they can't get long term deal worked out with him by the draft -- this is his replacement in a year.

Werner, Moore, Jones -- someone on the draft board that has 1st round draft value higher than a Safety or interior OL.

The Giants won 2 Superbowls on the shoulders of having 3 stud pass rushers that took their 4-3 to Brady.

Less we forget? We will be in absolutely no position to tag Spencer next year and only God knows what he's asking for at just about 30.

IMHO, a highly rated DE drops to us and we'll oblige. I don't think we'd be foolish to either.

Werner looks to have a great jump, strength, and hussle. And while we lament what this says about Spencer, let's not forget Ware wasn't Ware at the end of the year. Injuries and surgery are funny things. I'm not one to assume he'll be the same player again at this point. You have to have pass rushers.

Agree with everything you said except for Werner's hustle. Not the highest of motors.

I'd have to agree with the guy who gave this a "turrrrible" ranking.

Jesse Williams isn't a top 25 player. If you look at xwalkers mock thread you'll see only 2 of the 6 analysts listed Williams in round 1 and those were at spots 28 and 31.

Trading down makes zero sense when you then reach. Might as well trade down farther in the first place.

The 2nd round pick again makes little sense. An injured draftee with great value ... OK. But Faulk isn't an r1 value. Round 2 is where he goes if rated healthy. And this team can't afford a R2 pick that sits and learns/recovers. We are simply too thin.

I like the 5th and 6th round picks but would really dislike the earlier moves.

I don't know why I have the Tavon Austin fever, but I would be thrilled with him in the first and Oline in 2nd, then 3rd or 4th.

I was asking honest questions on his thoughts, not opposing the pick.

I like Werner. I do not at all think he will be a great pass rusher. But he should be real solid all around.

And yes, I would put him in a rotation and feel strongly that you need a good rotation in this scheme.
