I thought he played very well.

Gave up some completions, but they were all closely contested. Nicks is Dez in a Giants uniform and he was extremely quiet tonight.

He played extremely well against a tough group of wr's, this kid is going to have a great year.

My impression was that he will grade out positive on pass defense (not just as a rookie, but full stop).

He is, shall we say, not an active run defender. The big run to the outside was Mo's to contain.

Given the role that's more important, I think today was a very big success and first step.

Looked like he was worth the trade up. It's VERY hard to look that good as rookie in your first game, no matter what position you play.

Guarding a top 10 WR like Nicks & holding him to 38 yards, I was very impressed with his play.

Aside from the Bradshaw TD...he was excellent. He gave up a couple receptions, but they were in front of him and it didnt cost his team. A- effort tonight.

I said all week im not worried about him covering. It's hist tackling that bother me. He plays corner like a receiver and tackles like one too.

I really couldn't care less how a CB tackles. On 3rd and 7 is where they make their paycheck.

Yea, and he'll only get better with a few games under his belt. Can't wait to see this kid playing with a little swagger.

They showed a bunch of clips of him shutting down Cruz and Nicks. Very impressive outing by Mo.

No doubt. These two receivers combined for, what, 500 yards against us last year? Claiborne and Carr were undoubtedly the difference defensively.

Not sure I have seen too many NFL corners play this well in their first game. Once his instincts start to come out, there is gonna be a few picks. Something this team has desperately needed. Finally, we have a secondary. Halleluiah!

I love when a player like Mo comes in and already knows the scheme well enough in his first game to be aggressive when he has help. I often got the sense last year that our corners hadn't the foggiest idea what other players' assignments were.

Too bad he bombed the Wonderlic. He'll never have the intellect to play corner in the NFL.

He played very well, along with the rest of our secondary. Did not look like the typical rookie out there.

Off topic: It would've been sweet if Church intercepted that pass he broke on earlier in the game.

I was just in shock to see a safety breaking on a pass

He's just scratching the surface and playing on instincts and athletic ability right now. Wait until he gets some experience on the nuances like film study and route anticipation. He's going to be special.
