WHAT ??? Gosh this just breaks my heart. How awful. I can't even imagine.

They spoke w/ her family yesterday and they said they think she was going up towards the front of the plane to wave thank you to the pilot and she walked right into the spinning blades.

All I can think of is that Indiana Jones scene where he is fighting the big German giant guy and the guy walks in to the spinning propellers.

So sad :(

I know this is cold, and I apologize, but all I could think of was that now she can model Michael Jackson's glove at auction.

Reminds me of the show on TV, "1000 Ways To Die".

She's lucky she only lost her hand.

Oh it hit here in the head/face and shoulder as well. From what I have read she could lose her left eye along w/ having some major head/facial issues for the rest of her life.

I had a cousin killed when a crop duster that was landing lost control and the propeller hit him

Pilot should not have let anyone disembark until the propellers had stopped. Maybe it was one of those deals where he had to immediately take off again.

"This is sure to propeller her career"

Oh the internet...
The one that popped into my head is an old joke.

What happened when the model backed into the propeller?

Disaster.

Stick to Cowboys info instead. Your comedy might never work.

Just a really stupid and careless act. Might end up being more merciful if she had died.

Thats horrible. How does this even happen?

How do you walk into the propeller? Do they not teach you to always approach from behind?

so many questions.

Best of luck to her on the road to recovery.

Im sure due to the propellers rpms it was pretty much invisible.

This is what I was thinking. Was it late at night?

From what ive read in the story yes it was at night which means it was almost impossible to see the propeller in the dark.
Shes actually quite lucky that she wasnt killed.
