From what ive read in the story yes it was at night which means it was almost impossible to see the propeller in the dark.
Shes actually quite lucky that she wasnt killed.

One of our family friends worked with a guy who died when he fell into an indistrial woodchipper. I imagine the general affect is similar.

Nevermind. One crass joke by me in a thread is enough.

I know this is cold, and I apologize, but all I could think of was that now she can model Michael Jackson's glove at auction.

Oh the internet...

The one that popped into my head is an old joke.

What happened when the model backed into the propeller?

Disaster.

These go under the column of "thoughts better kept to yourself", ... not even remotely funny.

Hopefully you're directing that at the people who actually said it.

Airport tarmacs are very dangerous places even for the properly trained.
There used to be some photos floating around on the web a while back of a guy that ventured to close to a jet engine and was sucked in.
It literally vaporized him.

Tweeting, texting, or updating her Facebook?

I can't imagine how someone could be near a spinning propeller and not be aware of how close she/he is to it. It damn sure isn't silent.

She was a Packers fan before the propeller knocked some sense into her.

Funny! Grown men who honestly wouldn't say those things to her but are completely ok bashing her situation from the sidelines.

Not really surprised by those doing it however.
