This is perhaps on the news board, but I wanted to get a little discussion on this mock.

Mock drafts are never about what will likely happen, but more about exploring all of the scenarios that could happen.
With the NFL Draft just over a week away, there remains plenty of discussion on how exactly Dallas should address its myriad of remaining needs. Things have certainly heated up on the conversation of the Cowboys selecting a quarterback; something our mocks have suggested for months.
The entire Dallas front office flew to California over the weekend to once again workout Cal’s Jared Goff. The team is making sure they have all the information necessary on the draft’s Top 3 quarterbacks. In this version, however, the team passes on the quarterback heir for Dallas, feeling that outside Goff (who went first overall) there wasn’t much difference in the long-term prognosis for the second and third QB and the one they have rated fourth.
