Nope, it wasn't pretty but like I said it would be low scoring and the Cowboy's defense would shut the Commanders down. The Cowboy's offense did just enough to get the job done (fortunately they had two picks called back because of penalties) and though they didn't run the ball all that well they stayed balanced on offense and once again the Cowboy's O-line only gave up one sack. The special teams did their thing as well and Mystery Maher is turning into Money Maher. Now onto the difficult part of the schedule and folks, this is where the season really begins so we'll get to see what the Cowboys are really made of when they go on the road to play the Rams and Eagles.

Although Zeke only rushed for 49 yards at a 2.6 average, I was glad to see the offense stick to the run.

If we would seen that sort of production in recent weeks, KM would have dumped the run and gone completely pass happy

I have often argued that its not just about total rush yards, but threat of rushing that keeps defenses honest. although run game wasn't working, we forced them to defend the run, knowing their pass rush is not there and their secondary is their weakness. if this was garrett, we wouldn't have 27 rushes, we would end up with 15 and go pass happy and probably have a bunch of three an outs. KM and MM did a good job sticking to the run. I raz on them a lot, but give them credit when they do well.

Everyone going ga-ga over Cooper needs to realize just how one-dimensional he is. He can't run AT ALL. He's our version of Don Strock. He overthrows guys, he throws balls up for grabs. He's better than most back-up QB's I've seen play this season but he isn't starter material ......... he's stop-gap material. Our D is winning these games, not Cooper.

That is kinda silly considering the team is currently 3-1 and considering Dak could not have played worse in the Tampa game. Why is it really so hard to imagine us being 4-0 with even mediocre QB play against Tampa?

So what? A lot of QBs don't run. Ever seen Brady or Manning sprinting down field? It is possible to play the position without running the ball. What Cooper is doing is making the throws he has to make and not losing the games. Give the man his due. He has 4-0 career record. He might just me a gamer rather than a stat compiler.
