Nope, it wasn't pretty but like I said it would be low scoring and the Cowboy's defense would shut the Commanders down. The Cowboy's offense did just enough to get the job done (fortunately they had two picks called back because of penalties) and though they didn't run the ball all that well they stayed balanced on offense and once again the Cowboy's O-line only gave up one sack. The special teams did their thing as well and Mystery Maher is turning into Money Maher. Now onto the difficult part of the schedule and folks, this is where the season really begins so we'll get to see what the Cowboys are really made of when they go on the road to play the Rams and Eagles.

Although Zeke only rushed for 49 yards at a 2.6 average, I was glad to see the offense stick to the run.

If we would seen that sort of production in recent weeks, KM would have dumped the run and gone completely pass happy

That is a very encouraging sign: sticking with the run even when it does not go well. Far too many times in the past this team abandoned the run the first change they got.

1)I think 25 points against a front four like Washington’s is pretty good, especially with a backup QB.
2)Winning by 2 or 3 TD’s is awesome when Philly or almost any other team does it, but not Dallas.
3)I wish they’d pick the best OL combo, and go with that. Continuity is important. Plus, Zeke seem a hair slow. How many of his carries fall into the “+2 to -2” range?
