1. I wanna start by saying that the Cowboys cut way down on their penalties they had all of THREE!
2. Pollard starting was a nice change of pace
3. Matt Ryan is a turnover making machine.
4. CD Lamb ran all over the place and a lot of it was behind the line of scrimmage he has to be exhausted.
5. 33 points in the fourth quarter really, there were a lot of teams that didn't even score that many points total
6. Dak made some good throws and once again some really bad ones
7. The Colts kept it way too close for me for 3 quarters and could of tied the game.
8. 5 turnovers to 1 yup that's what the Cowboys do, Bland played a great game picking off two.
9. I don't think Micah Parsons had a sack but the Cowboys have other guys that can get to the quarterback.
10. The Cowboys could go 14-3, be the 5th seed, and be on the road for the playoff now that's bizarre.

Our defense has been a little sluggish, in a turnover department, compared to last year. Nice to see them creating turnovers. That's the piece of the puzzle that's been missing. We know the (run) defense is going to falter at times, but getting turnovers can really mask our shortcomings.

the thing about this team is that can keep it close even when they play bad. a little too close for my liking, but as evident they can catch lighting at any second and just score in bunches. they don't allow scoring in bunches.

Yeah someone made the comment about if the Cowboys have to play as a wild card 5th seed its because they didn't handle their business.

That's right but it's really hard to say that about a team that could end up winning 12-13 games. They have the 3rd best record in the league.

If they finish 13-4 they will have put together a division winning performance back to back years it's just that this year it wasn't quite good enough. It would be almost any other year.

This team keeps coming out flat. They go 3 and out and fall behind.

They have been playing less talented teams, and Dal has relied on the other team to make mistakes

We'll see how Dal matches up against the best team in the NFL Dec 24th.

And just our luck. The East just cannot have back to back champions no matter what happens. We still have a chance to win the thing but our division counterparts need to help. Having said that no way are the Gents going to beat Philly.

On the first point, I think the refs were letting them play. I saw a few flagrant fouls that they let go including a holding by Biadasz on Zeke's TD run up the middle. The hold was at the point of attack but I think Zeke probably would have powered in anyway. Both teams got way with some penalties. I am okay with letting them play as long as it is consistent for both teams.

This is really on point. First game of the year. First game after a bye. First game after extra time off. The Cowboys ALWAYS struggle to get moving and sustain drives. They never seem to come out of the tunnel ready to play. It's like they are in some kind of funk. Right when it looked like they were going to put their foot on Indy's throat in the 3rd quarter, they give up a TD and were a 2 point conversion from being tied 21-21. Don't be fooled by the final score. The Cowboys weren't in control of the game until Indy started turning the ball over.

Saw it said the same thing, that was definitely a hold by Biadasz.

I said it would be close, well I was right for the first three quarters anyway.
