I had a sinking feeling as soon as he fumbled that ball.
Ditto. I said to my son after that play that stupid stuff like that was going to be the ONLY way the Texans stayed in the game. And then, we kept doing more stupid stuff.

I don't care who you are, there was something fishy about the Texans drive after intercepting Dak Prescott inside the Cowboys 10.
NO coach in history goes for it on 4th and goal after getting knocked back to the two and a half yard line and a three point lead.
I'm still not sure the Texans didn’t score a touchdown because I didn't get to see the replay, but kicking a field goal puts the Texans up by six and EVERY COACH IN AMERICA WOULD TAKE THAT LEAD.
Whatever.

My thought is they are a one win team, they went for the throat and did not want to give the Cowboys a chance to score seven and win the game. A Td and that game was over.

What's wrong with Micah Parson? Is he getting worn down?
Sorry, Schoolhouse Rock and 3 but the magic number is 1.
We win next week, and we practically clinch a playoff birth.
Then we can rest guys who need to heal to prepare for a Super Bowl run.
I seriously doubt we're catching Philly.
I think we trip up at Jacksonville next week.

I think they step up to the challenge after getting embarrassed this week

I could agree with that premise if there was reason to think they would be successful, but they were losing yards every play, and there was absolutely no reason for them to believe that they would make it.
But a six point lead gives them potential to kick a winning field goal if the Cowboys do score a touchdown, as well as forces the Cowboys to score a touchdown or lose.
It just doesn't add up.

The reason Micah was not rushing the passer as well is because,
1) Laremy Tunsil is one of the better left tackles in the league.
2) Offenses are game planning around him. The are throwing over his head on quick screens, running away from him, also doubling him when necessary.

Not worried about Parsons at all.

Turpin's muffed punt return was a turning point, shifting momentum to the Texans. They ran the stupid run option just about every play of the game. Heck, it wasn't even an RPO since there was no pass option. Most of the game they only ran one of two plays (option or straight run), and we still had issues stopping them. We didn't have any sacks because they pounded the ball, preventing us from pinning our ears back and rushing the QB. If we had gained a two TD lead and forced them to pass, this game would have been over quick. As it was, we played right into their hands. Like I mentioned though, if Turpin catches that punt it might have been a completely different game. Just my 2 cents...
Not true,

Daks struggles after that multiple interceptions caused problems. We are a finesse offense , if the physical defense hits us straight we go bonkers, ( a la SF last year ) Also Moores play calling didnt help.
