I had to laugh at Joe Gibbs. HOF coach who doesn't know the rules. Don't be surprised to see Danny Boy make a run at Jason Garrett for head coach after Gibbs calls it a career at seasons end. He'd see it as weakening the Boys as well as bettering the Skins. Not that he learned anything from the Norv Turner era.

Watching the Lions game I had to wonder, did the Vikings ever punt? I think Detroit had 5 rushing attempts for 6 yards at the end of the third. When Tevarious Jackson is 15 of 19, you know that Lions pass defense has Romo salivating.

For some reason, the Vikings scare me more than any other team in the NFC, as far as playoff matchups go.

I think maybe Bradie James will let Kitna know that he's not so lost out there. Can you say MLB blitz?

I think what's even worse is that he didn't know that they were only going to go 10 men on the field on the first defensive play. Or that he didn't notice it when it happened.

Snyder has a sort of deal with Greg Williams in place to take over (actually, I looked it up Williams gets 1 mill if he does not succeed Gibbs). Williams clearly is in total and complete control of that D right now so he'd have a ton of support from the players.

You gotta wonder whose running that team. It would certainly have seem to me that the DC should have told his HC of what they doing. Either that or Gibbs was already told but forgot.

It's gotta be real tough for the fans to see their beloved HOF coach going out like this. They actually chanted "Joe must go" at the end of the game.
