...but from where and what will it be...? Curious.

Tonight's WWE RAW taping from Hartford, Connecticut will not be taking place.

WWE crews are currently at the XL Center in Hartford packing up their production trucks. A reader who works across the street was told that the taping is canceled.

PWInsider reports that there will be a RAW broadcast tonight but we're not sure what it will consist of.

Stay tuned for updates.

Ok so I am guessing their headquarters is an office complex.

They will just be showing tapes of something then unless they have an arena there.

WWE Raw for Jan. 26 Postponed Due to Snow: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction
By Ryan Dilbert, WWE Lead Writer

Roman Reigns' Royal Rumble celebration is going to have to wait; the Jan. 26 edition of WWE Raw is postponed due to inclement weather.

Hartford, CT was supposed to host the pay-pay-view fallout show but nature had other ideas. Snow hit the region hard, causing WWE to pull out of its premiere program. WWE has decided to move air the Raw broadcast on Thursday, Jan. 29, while also airing a live special in Raw's Monday timeslot tonight.

SmackDown will not be taped from Boston, MA on Tuesday and will not air this week.

WWE has expecting a torrent of fan backlash after fans rebelled against the decision to go with Reigns over Daniel Bryan at the Rumble. Instead, an actual storm is coming. Angela Fritz writes for The Washington Post, "Blizzard warnings and winter storm warnings blanket the Northeast on Sunday night in anticipation of the storm. Over 29 million people are under a blizzard warning through at least Tuesday afternoon."

Even with as much as Vince McMahon lives by a "the show must go on" mindset, he's not going to be able to have Raw on Monday.

As frustrating as this has to be for the company, it had no choice. It's simply too dangerous. Per PWInsider, Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy said it perfectly at a news conference on Monday, "As important to the world economy as wrestling is, public safety tops it."

This is bad timing for the company as they needed to provide some goodwill after another angry response at the booking for the Rumble.

The extra time, though, will give WWE time to rethink their approach. They have time to consider whether to slide Bryan into the WrestleMania main event or at least how to sell fans on Reigns

Ok guys I need help.

Exactly what is the huge appeal of Daniel Bryan about?

He looks like he needs to take a shower & maybe I'm not watching closely but he pretty much just runs at guys & hits them with his knee. I MUST be missing something. I don't get what the big deal is. He really has no gimmick.

Bring on Sting!

Not the entire story by far but a start:

Daniel Bryan 101: Why Do People Like Him?

Daniel-Bryan-Appeal-665x385.jpg

Daniel Bryan seemed to be the only name you heard in the buildup leading to last year’s WrestleMania.

After having not watched pro wrestling of any kind since 2006 — and even then, watching very little — I decided that it was now or never if I was going to jump back into the product I’d loved so much in the days of the Attitude Era.

After reacquainting myself by watching the 90-minute Raw replays on Hulu in the month leading up to WrestleMania 30, I decided Bryan was a guy worth pulling for.

The WWE had done an excellent job billing him as the underdog facing insurmountable odds; his theme music was cool; the “YES” chants were fun; and Triple H and Stephanie were deliciously appalling in their roles as oppressors.

WrestleMania 30 was one of the year’s best events, owing much to the Daniel Bryan storyline. Then he had to go off and get injured, and now we’re all once again in the position of asking why we should care after not seeing him compete for close to a year.

Well, the guys at r/squaredcircle have done a great job explaining the Daniel Bryan appeal, so without further ado, here are a few things you need to know if you’re in the position I was in last year and are wondering who the heck this guy is and why you should like him.

First, his in-ring work. For reference, reddit commenters recommend John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam 2013 as a testimony to his talent. The match is a classic. Bryan gets the nod over Cena, but then gets screwed by Triple H and Randy Orton, who captures the title from Bryan in a surprise attack moments after Bryan is crowned champion.

Analyzing Popularity of Daniel Bryan in Comparison to WWE Greats
By Aaron Bower, Featured Columnist Mar 3, 2014

c7514565c38953c7510bb56caa049d69_crop_north.jpg

The path Daniel Bryan has taken to travel from independent wrestling hero to WWE megastar is a bizarre yet compelling one.

Bryan himself is an incredibly intriguing character—you can go all the way back to 2002 and his days in Ring of Honor to trace his first serious footsteps on the independent scene

Go back even further, though, and there are several failed attempts to make it with WWE as a youngster. He is notorious for being one of William Regal's young proteges, which is no bad thing. However, whilst fighting with Memphis Championship Wrestling, the company severed its ties with WWE and Bryan was gone.

However, he had another opportunity when he fought on the likes of Velocity and Heat. He even went at it with John Cena on one occasion, an interesting glimpse into the future. However, he once again ended up leaving the company.

So how is it that a guy who wasn't considered good enough on several occasions has become arguably the most popular wrestler on the roster? Many would argue that is the result of one word: "yes."

It prompts an interesting debate: Where does Bryan rank, in terms of his popularity, against some of the most famous wrestlers to ever grace a WWE ring? The simple answer would have to be very highly indeed.

You would struggle to think of anybody over the last 10-15 years who has garnered as much popularity and success as Daniel Bryan has. Perhaps it is his tough road to the top that has endeared himself to many wrestling lovers. That seems to be a trait people dig—just ask CM Punk fans.

However, there are many people who have fought their way through the independent ranks to make a name for themselves in the WWE. Yet Daniel Bryan is effectively the chosen one in the eyes of many WWE fans because of the "YES!" chants.

Nobody has really carried a chant off so well. It is so simple and yet so brilliant at the same time. The fact it is so simple makes it magnificent in terms of a pro wrestling skit. That is almost an area where Bryan is exclusively on his own (with perhaps the exception of Ric Flair and his infamous "Woo!").

Big Dog..I think I figured out why I don't care for him. It's the "look" he has I think. He doesn't look athletic at all to me. There just isn't much there to me.

I wanna slap him but for me Seth Rollins is the best guy on that roster. That's your main event guy right there.

He's excellent in the ring. He has the underdog gimmick going and the beard is in with the younger audience. It's very palpable that Vince and HHH really don't want to push the guy because of his size which just creates more of an underdog gimmick. He also has gotten his angles over with the crowd throughout the years, be it thru comedy or as a heel. Consistently getting angles over is the best way to get the fans to eventually make you a fan favorite.

Yeah, he can wrestle, but given his size in the old days he'd be a mid-carder at best.

I'm young (20's but maybe you are talking about kids?) & that beard is gross...He looks awful but that is me!

I still think he's not right health wise & they worry about his neck injury. I mean he needed surgery & then he didn't & all of a sudden he's back.

Hard to believe he is the most popular "superstar" on the roster isn't it?

When I took my son to a house show last year the line was too long at the merchandise stand and I told him we would come back during the show. The 2nd match was Rusev (who was a complete unknown) against some troll so we headed out. I told him he could have any shirt he wanted if they had his size. After careful consideration (seemed like a 30 minute debate) he picked our a Bryan t-shirt. Don't underestimate the 'yes' movement.

I certainly don't get it..I cannot get pass the ugly on him which shows how shallow I am! :D

Instead of yes I say SETH! SETH! SETH!

RAW is just last night's PPV. Ugh.

By the way guys I have seen that Dudley guy on TNA. He was in much better shape on there!

Who cares about the old days?

Things change.

Guys like Lou Thesz looked at Flair the same way because Flair wasn't a 'real wrestler.'

Bill Dundee was smaller than Bryan and was a main eventer for decades. The same with Ray Stevens.

I always felt that type of argument was just nonsensical.

I thought that was one of the better Raw episodes I've seen in a while. Mostly revolving around the main characters and the interview style was old school...and it worked (who would've guess that something that worked for decades could still work...yeesh)

If more episodes were like this I could get back into it.

You make a great point Rich... But that just feeds the current problem.

You get guys out there that don't look like wrestlers.

Dundee was small and overcame it. But he really made his name as a tag-team guy.

Ray Steven's was short, but he had that barrel chest and thick legs. He looked the part.

But for whatever reason Vince isn't pushing the kid... well I guess he's not a kid, considering he's 33.
