Monster Truck Shows

It's summer time. I live in the sort of south (VA Beach, VA). And I want to take my son to a monster truck show. He's loved them since we went to a Expo they had at the ocean front last year.

Anyway, I can't find any information on any upcoming shows. Using my child-like internet skills, I've only been able to locate an upcoming show in Radford VA (5+ hours away in June), so that is likely a no-go. And then the next one I found is in February 2011.

Is anyone aware of any on line resources that list upcoming monster truck shows?

I haven't been to a monster truck show in 20+ years. Though Bigfoot and Grave Digger were my favorites as a kid.

That right there is what it's all about. My response was drab but not meant to undermine what it is you go to monster truck shows for. I apologize for uninentionally trivializing time well spent with your son. Outstanding.

I took my almost 3 year old to the show in Petersburg VA on Saturday, and we had the time of our life.

I know I have no memories from when I was three, so I'm sure he may not remember that day. But you can rest assured that it is a day that I will always cherish. Just us guys, having a blast.

I love being a parent, and I pray the Lord blesses me with more of these kinds of days.

It's the south. Drive 30 minutes west or south of VAB, and you'll recognize it.
