Conference finals teams had some beasts in middle of DL. Elite D's need to crush pocket from the middle and more turnovers will come.

Cowboys need to improve that area from the DL to secondary. Drafting a 3tech, 1 tech and playmaking safety need to be priority.

I agree on the need for a quick strong 1 tech we really suffer
from that position. CB ansd safety also. This class is deep at the DT
and safety

As deep as this class is at DT, specifically 1T, if they don't draft one this year, they never will. At least not while Marinelli is here.

While I think it's highly unlikely they draft one in the first, I do expect them to draft one in rounds 2-4.

I'm really hoping for one in the 2nd or 3rd. Preferably in the 2nd. Theres a good possibility that one of Billings, Johnson or Clark are there with our 2nd and all 3 would be massive upgrades. I'm hoping one of them is the pick there, but know I'll probably be disappointed.

I am not sure we need to draft a 3 tech. Not exactly ready to throw the towel in on Crawford yet now that we know he played most of the season with an ***** up shoulder and had the misfortune of playing next to the worst 1 tech in the NFL.

Now he might actually suck but I'd rather see us get a real good 1 tech first and see what Crawford can do. I also like Irving a bit and he's likely a 3 tech too. Maybe take a 1 tech project in the middle rounds of this draft and sign a good 1 tech like an Ian Williams or someone.

This is a DT heavy draft. Many teams, not just Marinelli, love to throw waves at offenses. Crawford and Irving are building blocks, but competition is the way to bring out the very best in anyone. And let's not forget injuries or off field issues, you just never know.

IMO, draft heavy at these positions now while the supply is at its peak. Trade down (multiple times if possible) and pick up Billings and Nkemdiche (could drop to 2nd like Gregory) with early picks. Then draft at these positions again on the final day, looking for projects that can be stashed and developed on PS. We may get lucky and one will supplant starters or early picks (creating trade opportunities).

I really like the following guys in the 4th-6th:

3Tech Javon Hargrave, 6-1 295, South Carolina State - 16 sacks, 24 TFL in 2014; 13.5 sacks, 20 TFL in 2015; 2x MEAC DMVP
1Tech OJ Mau, 6-2 310, Gardner-Webb - 4 sacks, 10 TFL, 55 total tackles in 2013; 3 sacks, 10 TFL, 3 FF, 1 FR, 60 total tackles in 2014; 2x Buck Buchanon Finalist

Undrafted FA's
1Tech/3Tech David Onyemata, 6-3 300, Manitoba
1Tech/3Tech Greg Milhouse, 6-2 300, Campbell
