That title is very vague, isn't the defensive coordinator the guy in charge of the defense? Why is this man denied the respect he deserves

well he'll be 77 in Feb. I'd think respect is what's keeping him employed in the league as opposed to making birdhouses.

Monte Kiffin was hired as the team’s defensive assistant on March 21, 2016.

If I can still work and do what this man does at age 76 I'll be in good shape.

The man deserves to be defensive coordinator - not a measly assistant.
