Take a minute and google Montee Ball, you will instantly be met with articles mentioning trading him or thoughts of him not making the team. As it stands right now, Ball is slated to be a 3rd RB at best.

Ball was a second round pick only two years ago and was very impressive as a rookie. This time a year ago, pundits were picking Ball to be the league's breakout player but now he a third RB at best. You can't really blame the Broncos for naming him the 3rd RB or cutting him considering the talent and production of the guys in front of him and the fact that the coach did not draft him but can one team's trash be another team's treasure?

Ball could likely be had for cheap at this point and we wouldn't have to worry about waivers. Now while I do think this could be a good idea, I do doubt the team will move because Randle/McFadden/Dunbar pretty much have a roster spot. The only chance of something like this happening is if Garrett was a fan of Ball coming out of college.

No thanks..

Drafted him 2 years in a row in fantasy and watched him a lot because of it.

Our current RBs have more ability than him.

What's it going to be then, eh?

If "had for cheap" means off the street, take a shot. Otherwise no.

Garrett should know a little bit about him due to his relationship to the Wisconsin program. Frederick could speak to him as a teammate.

Wait, RB ability matters now?

I thought it doesn't matter who runs behind this line?

I don't look at our RBs and see a lack of physical ability.

There are more no names out there with better physical ability than Ball.

It just comes down to ability + reliability.

We have about the most unreliable stable of backs in the NFL.

Well he wouldn't help the cause.

He's slow, doesn't pass protect well, doesn't run hard, fumbles.. I can't think of anything he is good at or anything that is he physically got going for him.

Yes Mcfadden gets hurts but at least he has power and can run like a deer.

I didn't watch a ton of him last season but I do recall him showing some power late during his rookie season which probably helped justify you drafting him early last season(as did I).

Fantasy is all about opportunity and volume. That's why I chose ball because he is in a high powered offense and looked like he was the only guy there.

Well the player I chose failed but the system didn't.

CJ Anderson lit it up.

Same will happen in Dallas.

If I knew Dallas would give 1 guy the bulk of their carries I'd draft him in the 2nd or 3rd round.

And like I said, he would not be in Dallas if he didn't get some endorsements.

I really do not care anymore. We are going with the Three Stooges and it will soon become evident how that worked out.

There is no rescue from that deliberate choice. Not at this stage of the game.

I really, really don't like Ball. He never impressed me very much. Every time I've watched him play, I came away thinking that he just isn't a very good back.

I think the guys we have now are better.

Ok I'll admit the RB matters if they don't produce if you'll admit you're wrong when they do produce.

Fine.

I stand pretty proud on my platform with the Three Stooges.

Unless they have all been sandbagging it their entire careers, I don't see much hope they will suddenly blossom.

Randle only looked bad his rookie year.. Complete jag looking.

I thought that changed last year.

I'm actually a fan of Randle. I just don't know if the team a fan of his pass blocking. If he could pass block, we could afford to let McFadden go and go after someone with more upside when the cuts begin.

Ball was really good in college, I think that he would be a good RB for Dallas, hard nosed runner behind our great OL !!!!:yourock:
