outside of that disgusting lateral flea flicker he was great at calling the game

Other than that trick play in the first half, why not.

As much as I hated that play, if Maddox wouldn’t have read it and made a great individual play then Dak had Gallup wide open for an easy TD.

Execution makes or breaks how good the play calling is. There was nothing wrong with the flea flicker other than the fact Maddox didn't bite and Dak didn't throw it away.

I personally feel, this was his best called game maybe of his Cowboy OC career. Gotta give him credit for not giving up on the run, and his overall play calling today was A+
