Moore Continues To Prove He Will Never Have A Job Outside of Dallas

Like Jason Garrett, look how long the giants kept him for that didn't last long.

Surprised they even gave him a chance, but at least they realized quickly...our bad. Takes Jerry a full decade of experimenting. Good news is Jerry probably doesn't have another decade. Bad news is Stephen does.

With Dallas? The sky is the limit since Jerry views him as Garrett 2.0. Anywhere else? Get outta here.

Dak did this or that, defense laid down here or there. What about after the INT that felt like a game clincher, you show just for once, some killer instinct instead of curling up in a ball and hope for the best? Was there ANY true intention of moving the ball after that INT? Two wasted plays and just a hopeful heave down the field, make the Jags use their timeouts and then leave it to the defense. The cowardice and cluelessness of Moore is absolutely sickening. Yeah, players have to make plays, but you eventually need someone other than some jag who has failed at EVERYTHING he's ever done in the NFL calling your plays.

Kellen Moore's offense has been ranked in the top 10 in points and yards in 3 out of the 4 seasons he has been an offensive coordinator.

Curious which offensive coordinator you would want?

Someone who knows how to win when the game is on the line against a good team. Or even a bad one like Green Bay or Jax. And since Moore has never succeeded in anything in the NFL, literally anyone probably would have called smarter plays at the end of that game. I'll give credit when we march up and down the field, when we do it. But this inexcusable, horrid calling at critical times, like following the INT, just has to stop.

Sure, Moore stinks, but he isn't the one who tossed a moon shot to the defense that lead to 6 points. The pick 6 at the end wasn't a good pass either, but the receiver is the one getting all the blame. No wonder he didn't want to talk to the media after the game while our 'leader' was dropping f-bombs on live TV doing his best deflecting job..
Sounds like you're mad. Do you need a hug?

The title of this thread will not age well.

Actually, it will have staying power for about 6 more years, which is how long I estimate it will take for Jerry to finally get rid of him.

Moore is the dumbest offensive coordinator in the league and he proves it everytime he has to make the right calls at the right times/situations. Moore is not genetically intelligent enough to make the right decisions at this level on a consistent basis. He's just not smart enough, and his situational game management proves that time after time.

This is going to be a repeat of Garrett. Once fired from here he may get one more short term look with another franchise. He will then be canned in less than two years and be working a booth somewhere after that never to coach again.

This is why you hire the best candidates on earth rather than guys who haven't earned it, have no experience to speak of, and frankly, don't belong in the NFL.

Just like Garrett, only in Dallas would Moore be a guy that we are forced to suffer with for years and years until we pull the plug

And there is the Jones boys dilemma. They don’t have to answer to anyone so they continue with mediocrity. Any GM or a real head coach would have pulled the plug on Moore already since they would be held accountable. McCarthy doesn’t have that power and the Jones boys don’t answer to anyone. Since they like Moore like they liked Garret, Moore is safe for a while. These two bozos thought Garrett was a great head coach and teams would be lined up to get him. Here they are again with Moore.

I honestly don't think the clock on Moore even starts until he becomes HC. And yes, I still believe that Jerry would do it. Nothing over the last decade plus has indicated to me that he wouldn't.

Our GM and his son cannot get a job offer outside of the Cowboys
Our Coach cannot get a coaching gig after coaching here for 10 years.
Our OC cannot get another gig at NFL level outside of Cowboys.
Our QB is a backup material outside of Cowboys.

Mike's the guy in charge if something doesn't sound right on offense or defense he needs to change it.
But alas he stands there arms folded and let's it go. In his mind he's blameless.

Like Garrett before him, he's just happy to be employed. Winning would be cool, too, but he's got six chins to feed.

At least we don't hear them say that about Moore anymore. Well, maybe Troy still does...haven't heard him recently.
You are right about that, no they don't anymore, lol. I don't get ESPN, so haven't heard Troy in awhile myself

its his own fault

you cant be bad in situational football but be good the rest of the game

3rd down with one timeout a pass play shouldnt cross your mind

you run it and idc if you get -2 yards make them use the last timeout and go the whole field

thats elementary if he cant grasp that he needs to find work elsewhere

I don’t understand why he won’t stick with the run late in the 3rd and up double digits. Only way the Jags get back in the game is with turnovers and negative yardage plays. We tend to turn it over less when we run the ball.

Unfortunately we'll be stuck with him just like we were with JG. I'm old enough to remember when JG was the head coach every couple years the talking heads would say that other teams would clamour for JG if the Cowboys let him go and we have now seen how successful he was outside of Dallas. It's the exact same with Kellen.
