Moore Exposed

Yup Moore is garbage that doesnt know how to call a game without everybody healthy. Look at the real good OC like McDaniels who can make do with scraps.
Is he the guy that drafted Tim Tebow in the 1st round?

All NFL teams have key players with injuries all the time .

I wonder how other OCs adapt to that ? !!!!

He couldn't run the ball more or use play-action? The only short routes we could run with WR screens?

How about max protection?

You watched the game. They couldnt run the ball. They did use play action. How do you know all the routes the recievers ran on every play? That sounds laughable. They did use some max protection.

My concern with Moore is he doesn't seem to be able to adjust the blocking scheme when we get beat on the line. It's all great to run exotic routes out of unique formations but if the blocking doesn't work then the play doesn't work.
Weird how that works....when the blocking fails...the play fails. Yet...we still have the #1 offense...and people want to blame Kellen...give me a break. It's amazing we were even in this game..I'd like to see anyone else game plan missing all these pieces.

Other teams do it every week. I am not calling for his head, but at the same time why does he get a pass? It is his job to get the guys he has ready to go and come up with an effective game plan, as well as make adjustments.

I need a job like his where you get all the credit when things go well and none of the blame when it doesn't.

:hammer:

All 3 phases looked rocky at the start of the game.

Defense though did a 180 and tried their best to save the game. Offense couldn’t even get them 1 measly TD!

Said it before, Quinn is the better head coach and his unit showed it. Kellen missing his OT and WRs? Well, Quinn ain’t exactly flying high with his defensive line.

Biggest question for Kellen Moore:

- You unexpectedly lose your LOT and #1 WR last second. You had been planning on both of them. Why not start the game with a ground attack? Esp after it becomes obvious the passing protection is starting like a subway turnstile?

He isn’t experienced enough yet many want him to be the HC tomorrow :muttley:

Which teams would that be?

I laugh at these guys who say we don't need Amari Cooper (great route runner) against pressure or a great run game.

Well.... there's a defensive game plan for that and we just saw it

i do think we could’ve won without Amari but Dak was throwing hospital passes and acting like he was on crack, KM may have called the worst game of his career, and the O-line broke down faster than a car built from China

Even taking away Pollard's big run on the trick play, they ran 15 times for 51 yards (3.4 average). That's not ideal but it's not completely horrible too. With it being a 1-2 TD deficit for most of the game, it certainly wasn't time to panic and abandon the run. That played right into the KC defense's hands and they were all over the passing game.

The Cowboys need to learn how to grind out games and win ugly. Every week isn't going to be a clean passing/running game. Dropping back 43 times behind a shaky OL with backup WRs is not a good recipe to survive a game like this.

It almost feels like because we lost Coop and Tyron so unexpectedly late in the week, the coaches were like "#*$#* it!" we'll stick to the gameplan we practiced for all week. (which felt a lot like the TB game)

Even KC was stupid about it. Our defense had a great turnaround but they also did it because KC surprisingly stopped running. The game was within range all 4 quarters if we could have just scored once or twice.

If you can run on high-powered offenses, why would you not?? I know the league is pass happy these days, but a great ground game still can win the war when needed.
