Moore is the backup QB per Rapoport

It was interesting to hear that he made the trip to the Philly game with the team and on the plane ride home Linehan told him to be ready. Can't remember for sure but I believe it pretty positive it was Mort who reported that.

Yeah I was just watching ESPN and they said linnehan wants him over any of the vets we brought in to workout. Said he's really high on him and told him to be ready during the philly game when Romo went down.

Yep. Linnehan (sp?) has history with him, and knows him well. He really pushed to get Moore promoted as Weeden's backup. I guess he got his wish. I don't know Moore, but I think highly enough of Linnehan to trust his judgement.

None of the guys we brought in for a workout would have been able to step in and play for a few weeks at least or are much if any better then Weeden. Buy the time one of those guys knows the offense well enough to win a game, Romo is healthy again.

Pretty much any backup we would to get a meaningfull contribution from this season would be a guy that has played for either Garrett or Linehan

Nobody that is a valid NFL QB is available.

Most teams don't even have a credible starter let along trying to find a backup.

It is so sad how awful the QB product is coming out of college.

Moore has one less wart than the rest, and he has plenty.

Out of all of the quarterbacks out there lounging around on their couches, Moore was the only one a team was willing to sign, and that team was the Cowboys a couple of weeks ago. Hard to argue with the choice.

Total nonsense.
"wide landscape of ideas being discussed".....by KD Drummond

You know, the former BTB poster that said Crawfords deal would 4 years, 18 million

Moore is here because Lineham likes him and he knows his offense. Thus, he can play almost immediately with the entire playbook if need be. I'm not comparing him to Romo, but Romo wasn't a "valid" QB at one point either.

I used to while the days away Saturday watching the games and lately.... it's hard to watch.
