Too many times this guy out thinks himself. Zeke just ripped of another 6-7 yard gain on first down and put the ball at the 4 yard line. 2nd and goal at the 4 and kellen calls a wr reverse. This type of garbage cost us 7 points and it didn’t matter this game but it will down the road. Line up stick McGovern back there again and pound it ahead. For those that will defend Moore it’s fine but it’s still fact that this redzone offense could be that much better if he just stopped getting cute.

He's done it for 3 weeks now and hasn't learned. It's infuriating because it's not the time to try something cute when you are struggling. Just stop. Stop doing that.

Agreed. Don't change the game plan if it is working. Both backs were doing well and in the 3rd quarter, he stopped running the ball. It's like he had a v8 moment and said, "oh that's right, we can run the ball". Once the run was back in place we took over the game. The eagles D was worn out.

no not really hes trying different things to see if it works....no reason to think hes not setting up teams later in games or the season to look for these creative plays..a few were wrecked by penalties, bad reffing, and dak or someone twice wasnt sure what he paly was those ghosts handoffs..something was wrong in execution's more then the play calls..

stop ripping coach for finally trying to be creative vs vanilla..they ran inside the 5 but when inside the 20 were cresting plays..i like KM he having his best 3 game stretch of game plan and play calling ive seen since hes been here and just keep the chains off and let him cook up plays..

only garett supporters would be upset at KM play calling hes not perfect like any other coach, player or FAN!!

These aren't new plays because he's done them for the last 3 weeks. They don't work. Teams now expect him to do something stupid when we get to the red zone. Stick to pounding the ball and getting chunks of yardage, you know the reason why we got to there.

We've got three good receivers and two good tight ends as well as two good running backs and he runs a stupid double f****** reverse or a quarterback draw.

again

let the coach coach shut up with all the bs hindsight criticism of play calling the 10 years + of vanilla handoffs on 1st down are over, some may work, some may not..dont care!

sloppy execution's kill's most plays..

fact even that ST gaff last TG with the fake punt , well it was WIDE open..crazy call shouldn't have called it but striaght up had a wide open player and another player who trued to be the hero and run instead of throw's it..technically that play call did what it was supposed to it fooled the defense, was open and the player didn't execute it..

it happens. Trust me it will pay dividends down the road..teams over 17 games try and find consistency's and exploits them KM is making sure hes not calling the same stuff every time hes down there..

I’m a big fan of power football in the red zone.

we have Tyron smith. We have Zack Martin. We have Zeke, say what we will about him. But he can still run with power.

Zeke should be our primary guy in the red zone.

good teams, can run the football in the red zone.

It didn't really cost them. Dallas stuffed Philly deep and got excellent field position on the punt which turned into a TD on a short field. The time to run it with Zeke was on fourth down. I don't like the reverse call but it gives teams something to consider down the road.

Exactly. He's called those trick plays twice this year already and both times cost the team a TD.

he does outsmart himself at times. he tries to trick the defense by trying to come up with a play they may not be ready, instead of doing what is working...no need for trick plays. not the right time for it....he did that against chargers and Tampa as well.....and in this game, goal line, empty back field....should have kep zeke there and not take a chance although I do blame Dak for holding on to the ball too long and not paying attention to the pocket collapsing around him....he needs to tighten those things up if he is to reach the next level.

Whoever it was probably tried padding Dak’s padding stats in the red-zone, because all they needed was a FG to go up three scores against a mediocre offense and they refused to run it all that series. Eagles couldn’t stop the run either, so why risk a TO by passing on every down.

And I hardly doubt it was Moore, because Dak clearly has the permission to audible now into a run, with the looks the defense is showing. Either Dak wanted to throw it in or he is mediocre in the red zone, or both. Most probably both..

We were also bailed out because the Eagles jumped offsides on third and 12, meaning we were moving backwards.

Even on that 4th and 2, Lamb and Wilson were wide open, but Dak was looking left the whole time, and the play broke down, so he bailed right and Wilson was able to get behind the DB that had recovered.

I hope we continue to be unpredictable but the WR reverse is a terrible call in the red zone unless they are setting up for a throw off that down the road. It is too cramped for that play to ever work properly.

He did pull out that end around down near the goal line again. At least this time it went for no gain instead of a 6 yard loss.

Unacceptable. Even a two yard gain gives you all the options for 3rd down. After another 6-7 yard run on first do it again on 2nd and 3rd and it’s a td 90% of the time.

Except for inside the 10 yard line reverses. He can throw those in the trash. If you are going to run anything like that it has to be a quick jet.
