IMO..... we need to make some changes in the OL, i would put Flozel on notice, i would bench Kosier for Procter or play Procter at center and move Gurode to LG. RG stays for now, and Columbo is given the same notice Flozel got. this OL must practice Blitz pickup everyday in practice from now till the end of the season. next change needs to be Canty, get his butt out of there, he does nothing, either start Ratliff or Coleman. and last but not least Pat Watkins meet the bench. i would replace him with Davis or Coleman immediatley. oh and Romo stays the QB

Big time problems on the OL...

Remember when LaVar Arrington runs right between two blockers... TWO BLOCKERS to disrupt Bledsoe on the flea-flicker... Otherwise that was a TD to TO!!!

Offensive line is completely a horrid sore spot last year and what is done about it in the off season... NOTHING!!!? Un-freakin believable... Any other pro team would have cleaned house

Dallas is what?? Stubborn?! Coachable to the point of being average at best! I guess.

It's Rivera that I dislike the most on the OL, especially at his price.

Not to mention the coaching since there seems to be many mental msitakes on who to block.

Let's just cut the whole freaking team. Great plan.

Can we add a few coaches and some fans too? You know, I hate Stephen Jones also! CUT CUT CUT :chop:

Actually Flo had a pretty decent game...Columbo (RT) got owned by Strahan. Arrington sack looked like J Jones missed the block completely. Middle of the line looked pretty solid....just Columbo got a taste of real life and probably got a wake up call.

Defensively, Watkins needs to be more aggresive and is giving us a taste of rookie growing pains. I hate to say it (again, because many have said it), but Roy Williams is a liability in pass defense about 50% of the time. He's great in the short field, but for deep support it's feast or famine. He'll be either good or awful...no in between (read consistent). I look for Coleman to get more snaps in the upcoming games as he gets his legs back(at FS).

1) I agree

2) I agree Flo needs put on notice

3) Kosier is ok but Proctor probably should get a few snaps

4) Gurode is the only semblence of solid OL play, he stays where he's at

5) Rivera is benched until further notice, maybe Proctor plays full time at RG. Rivera is horrible

6) Ratiliff and Coleman are playing better than Spears and Canty, which is flat out embarrassing.

7) Coleman needs to play some FS, I still think Watkins comes around but he's not there yet

8) Absolutely, Romo remains starter and gets a week to prep as the starter and work with the first team

9) Some games I wonder if we shouldn't look for a blockbuster trade using Roy W and a draft pick to move up to get someone like Brady Quinn because most games I think that KD would give us almost as much at SS as Roy does. And SS is KD's natural position. I love Roy to death but he's not that missing element we need on the D and I don't think the play would be that dramatic of a drop off to KD. I know this sounds blasphemous here...

Columbo is the only oline change I'd make for now but who do we replace him with? Fabini? :puke:

What happened with Fabini? I thought this guy would have been the starter when they signed him...

Columbo was much worse than Rivera. He just stood there and let Strahan run free on just about every play.

I agree, it doesn't seem like the O-line is getting beat physically all that often. It seems like linebackers and d-lineman come through untouched far too often on blitzes and stunts. That's the mental part of the game, and I don't know how much of that is coaching-but it has to be fixed.

Our OL has stunk since 1998. Why can't we get it fixed??

i would also entertain the idea of moving Flozel to RT and put McQuistan in at LT, move Gurode to LG and put in Al Johnson. something needs to be done, this OL is pathetic.

We have physically gifted morons on the line it seems. Heres hoping that someone pulls a Wiley Coyote and has a lightbulb or two come on.
