I'm more concerned with our linebacker group than I am with the defensive line.

I actually think the defensive line is going to be fine this year.

Our inability to have our linebackers cover successfully is our biggest weakness on defense. Linebacker might be a weaker position group than safety at this point.

I believe if Bruce Carter & Rolo can step it up this year we will see a huge upgrade at the LB position. I don't believe the DL group will be a top 10 group in the NFL but will be better than last year. If the DL can be at least middle of the pack type good would be okay with me since we're seeing improvement in that area baring injuries.

Dallas's Cornerbacks are what scare me the most when it comes the Dallas Defense. I believe our Secondary will be the weak link for some reason. All we hear about is how our corners getting abuse by the WRs in 1vs1s thus far in training camp. Its either Dallas WRs are a top 5 group or our DBs are just awful.

Not especially confident on the linebackers, but at least there are some options and a glimmer of potential from some of the young players.

The DL is a complete unknown in comparison and will have a more significant impact if we did not make the right moves up front.

I think the entire defense is an unknown, but can surprise many if healthy. Doesn't mean they will be top 15, but to get to low 20's would be great.
I think the LB's will be better than most think, and if the DL can improve from this rotation plan, keep fresh legs, that will help the LB's & DB's.

I like the potential of all the youth, decent players returning from injuries. And if all comes together, they will be better than last year. Like I said before. If they can just improve enough to stop a few late drives, to get us 2 wins or preserve them, instead of losing it. That may be all we need to win the division.

The whole defense is poor. All three levels need an influx of talent. So ready to see Carr and Mo off this team. Way too much invested in mediocre players

all they do on cowboys break is laugh and make fun of the defense and how bad it is and praise the offense and they haven't played against any one yet either

Im worried about dline and lbs. This is probably the worst lb core in the nfl. If mclain doesnt work out its not good!

The DL is going to be mediocre-to-bad, and we'll have a relatively even distribution of talent.

I think we're likely to have more volatility in the LB corps, too. I don't like counting on Carter or McClain to step up to be above-average players for us. Either or both could, but I don't know how likely it is. Mel Kiper didn't like Hutchinson. Durant's a plug-and-play rotation guy. WIlber's got some upside, I guess.

All-in-all, our front 7 has to be one of the very worst in the league on paper. Let's hope we hit on some of that upside that's out there, because we could really use it.

It is amazing the lack of plus talent in the front 7. Even factoring in a massive bounce back from Carter and Melton not missing a beat after returning from injury, the talent is very lacking. And both of those factors are big assumptions.

I feel better about Carter and Durrant than I do about anything on our D-Line so for those reasons alone I feel better about the linebackers than the D-Line.

Been saying this before the draft. Still true today. The brass will be watching the late cuts pretty closely in a few weeks. Or at least they better be. It wouldn't shock me if more than one got picked up.

don't care about the giants

I was just asking, because, them being our division rival and all, I thought you'd have a take on them. Perhaps you might like what they're doing better than what we're doing, and such. Think they'll win more than 4?

Not me. I fear the defensive line will get pushed around in the run game like rag dolls. Hope to see differently soon.
