Romo and OC seem to have these low percentage plays when it comes to Dez.

Gotta use crossing routes or slants Atleast a few times per game.
You are gonna hit on a few of them.

He needs to be a bigger part of offense In a smarter way.

Couldn't agree more. Need to get the ball to Dez on the move to max his running ability.

no doubt we blew the skins game because we did'nt adjust to the blitz well at all. with dez i think crossing routes are great because he has such a wide catch point and power to run after the catch. i suspect the next skins game, r any game we et blitzed alot you will see that more. i suspect that our oc learned from his mistakes
i noticed yesterday we had hot routes for blizes on most plays, mostly with witten

We got lucky during 6 game win streak. So we gave a couple back .... But both cards and skins games were winnable. Parcells-style!

I posted the same thing yesterday. I have 0 confidence this will be a staple of the offense but it should be,

When Owens was here I kicked and screamed for this every week but it was still vertical passes down field instead of just getting him the ball and letting him make a play like he did so well in San Fran & Philly.

Dez is a dangerous open field runner. Keep it simple, get him the ball, and watch him work.

Dez only "disappeared" bc Weeden doesn't know how to throw a crossing route. He almost got Dez killed leading him into a safety against Arizona. Romo has much better field vision and Dez trusts him not to throw the ball to a spot where he's going to get lit up.

When Dallas had the huge game offensively last year against Denver, the drag route was pretty much introduced with Dez. Whenever we ran that play with Dez, it was gold. For some reason, we abandoned it. On his TD, it was pretty much a flavor of the crossing route that Dez is a monster in. Love how it came with the blitz up the middle.

I agree, but Dez HAS to win those matchups. He didn't do that against Washington.

He actually won more than I initially thought. But often times timing was thrown off in the backfield.

We need a new passing game scheme and/or coordinator. There is a lack of creativity in the offense. Dallas rarely uses Beasley, Harris, Escobar or others and when they do see a play or two, 90% of the time....they get the ball. I see it and other teams as well, it doesn't confuse anyone.

If I see Harris on offense, he will get the pass, usually a bad play-call too. Our secondary receivers need more snaps as to not become predictable and I do realize we need blockers in there for the running game.

Too many long routes(not good without a burner WR) and not enough slants, drags, screen or seam routes. Witten runs the seam but is the only one.

I would like to see a variation of pass/run plays out of the same formation. Usually, I can tell what is going to be ran just by the formation......predictable.

As long as the running game is working, Dallas can get by, but if/when it is stopped, the offense stalls due to a poor passing system. If we didn't have Romo, the offense would be embarrassing IMO.

I watch other games and see receivers running all over the place, wide open too. I see us run(both wide-outs) deep with someone on an out or a 2yd pass to Witten when needing 8 for a 1st down.

Every passing play, Dez and/or Cole/Harris need to be slanting or dragging across the middle, it is ripe for the pickens! With a healthy OL again, I see no reason that there can't be more 4-receiver sets out there.

Yes. I would pull up all the old film on TO while he was in San Fran. TO was always on the move and a huge threat as a ball carrier, which I believe is Dez's greatest strength.

Why does Dez have to leave parts of games for dehydration more than other players?

Happened a few times this year

I have said it before and I will say it again.

Dez is TO reincarnate!

Just put on film of TO in 2007. He was moving around a lot. Then Garrett got the keys all to himself and it pretty much stopped in 2008.
