This is just a matter of opinion. I think Russell is a good QB and should go high in the 1st rd but I don't think he is #1 in the top 100 which has nothing to do with where he will get selected and chances are the Raiders very well could take him. There is a difference between the top 100 and a mock draft this list looks more like a mock draft than who is the best players in the draft.

It's all a matter of opinion, just as you saying that Russell isn't the best QB in the draft. I will agree with you that I do not believe he is the best player in the draft, I think that guy is Calvin Johnson.

Same thing could be said for Vince Young last year, just replace ND with USC and you have the same situation with Young and Leinart last year as you do with Quinn and Russell this year. Personally I think Russell will turn out to be a great QB as will Quinn, but I would go with Russell over Quinn. Russell may not be worthy of being seected #1 because he may not be the best player in the draft (Calvin Johnson), but the Raiders have a need at QB and cannot afford to move down and still get him.

I don't agree with this at all. I don't know that I would say Young didn't show up for big games, outside of SC. To me, that is inaccurate. Young was leading the Heisman race right up to the end of the year when Bush threw up over 500 All purpose yards against Fresno. Russell is not Young IMO. No way, no how. JMO but I don't see it.

he might not be Young but his (Russell's) passing talent is far better
