Mickie James / Dallas Cowboys

"Go, Tony Romo! Go, Terrell Owens! T.O.’s a little hurt, but he’s going to come back. I have my Cowboys hat and I have my Cowboys jersey. I had a pink Romo jersey until Jessica Simpson came and soiled it. So now I won’t wear it. She’s bad luck."

John "Bradshaw" Layfield / Dallas Cowboys

"The Dallas Cowboys have the best team in the NFC. I think Dallas beats Green Bay and New England beats Indianapolis. Unfortunately, New England will probably beat Dallas in the Super Bowl. If both teams play their best, New England has the edge. Dallas has a chance because they can score. They have Tony Romo. Nobody really wanted the guy, and now he’s got this huge contract, a smoking hot girlfriend, and he's an all-pro. You’ve got to like him."

Cody Rhodes / Dallas Cowboys

"The Dallas Cowboys are the team of the house. We are by no means frontrunners, because for the longest time, they sucked. I have to watch the game in full. I won’t even watch if I pick it up halfway. I’ve got to see what the attitude is like, what the morale is like, and how they’re playing. That Commanders thing was a travesty."

Balls Mahoney / New York Giants

"If we play like we’ve been playing, we can go all the way. Here’s my call: If the Giants make the Super Bowl, it will not be against New England. It will be against Indianapolis, with brother vs. brother [Eli Manning vs. Peyton Manning] at starting quarterback. If I’m not watching the game live, I watch at home with my mother. I have to watch football with my mom. When I’m on the road, I’ll be on the phone with my mom throughout the whole game."

Tommy Dreamer / New York Giants

"I like the New York Giants, but I don’t have confidence in Eli Manning. I don’t think the Patriots are going to go all the way, either. It’s up in the air right now. It’s a very interesting time to be a football fan, right now. I’m not a super fan. That’s more like Balls Mahoney, who’s a weird, obsessed Giants fan. He’ll say, 'We’re winning' like he’s on the team. And when they lose, he gets really depressed."

:laugh2:

I'd say Mickie James' prediction counts for more than the rest of them combined.

*** is Cody Rhodes saying? He sounds borderline halfwitted.

and Mickie James is hot. That is all.

Wow, is this what wrestling has turned into? Give me Jake the Snake, Ultimate Warrior, Andre the Giant and the Hulkster any day.

"Team of the house."

What does this even mean?

Mr. Rhodes sounds as if he was a frequent passenger on the short bus.

I simply can't read though his prediction without laughing uproariously at the poor sentence construction. I can finally say I've encountered someone who's functionally illiterate.

Everytime I read this, I too, cannot figure out what the hell he is trying to say.

But it's freaking hilarious.

Windward, you are a favorite poster of the computer. I read you posts in full. When I miss posts from you on thread but see you quoted by other poster, I always go back to find you posts that was quote so I can read it in full. I like you attitude and your morals. Keep up good work![/codyrhodes]

Having dealt with Cody's older brother Dustin once, I can tell you that none of the Rhodes boys have ever been the sharpest knives in the drawer (and FWIW, their family name is really Runnels)...

Dustin and a number of other pro rasslers stayed at the hotel I was working at in New Market some ten years ago... he made a real impression on the staff by trying REAL hard to sweet talk the oldest, ugliest waitress we had on the breakfast shift into going up to his room...

I mean, she was the sweetest woman you'd ever want to meet, but she was uglier than a mud fence... the other waitress working that morning was pretty hot (and single), I can't begin to understand why Dustin settled on the ugly one...

For the record, he struck out swinging... LOL...

Just what IS a mud fence anyhow? Where can I see one? Can you get them at Home Depot?

"Uglier than a mud-fence in a rainstorm... in winter."

There was an old guy who lived down the street from me who used to say that all the time. I had no idea what it meant except that it implied that she was REAL UGLY!

I think it means that they know as much about football as the writers for ESPN. :p:
