Why would anyone buy a Cowboys only package unless it is a 3-4 game package? Most of the Cowboys games are free over the air since they are Nationally Televised. I would say 12 out of 16 games most years and all the playoff games. Absolutely free...
That would mean I would miss 4 or 5 games a year.
No way is that happening.
Hence I want the cheapest way to watch them. And if it means I pay the absolute minimum to just watch them... That's what I want.
Missing 4 games a year is OK with some fans. But not for me.
My dream would be to only pay for the games that I can't get... But I doubt they will go there.

I have zero confidence that in the end this will be a reasonable/affordable option to watch NFL games.

I have a lot of confidence that I will end up doing what I do now and that's streaming games using "alternate" means.
as long as I can use "Alternate means," thats what Im doing and I have 4 games going all at once.

Why would anyone miss any games? Way too many free ways to watch all the games with little effort.....haven't missed one game in 6 years. No DirecTV....as long as I have Internet, no issues at all...

Why does anyone pay when there are ways to stream for free? I was a Sunday Ticket guy for years. Haven’t paid to watch for a few years now.
It depends to each person.
I agree to an extent. ST gives you more convenience to switch between games. Also you could have 4 or up to 8 games on at the same time, and switch the audio around very quickly.
And depends if you use it to only get the cowboys games, but do not care about other games, therefore, yes, streaming is the way to go.

But if you want options to watch better games than your local non Dallas games, you may be stuck with the Jets and Browns, as opposed to watching 3 other great match ups.

I liked it as I got it for free 6 or the last 8 years. The 2 years I did not have it I streamed other games I wanted to see.
I paid for it from 1997 until 2014, when I was traveling for my work at times.
Though I get all the Dallas games.

I doubt I pay for it this season, will need to think about it. However, if I cancel a few things like I been planning to do anyway, it would pay for it.

Directv had free NFL ticket the last few years. But in upstate NY, I think at least 75% of the Cowboys regular season games were locally broadcast anyways last season. The few games I would of had to go out to see would be a nice change of pace to get a bite to eat in a bar atmosphere.

YoutubeTV is just a better platform than cable TV. Think we pay around $80/month for pretty all channels that supports every TV on my house and have never had an issue. Id recommend regardless of Sunday ticket or not, having it is now just a bonus.

So if you cut the cord on cable and go with YouTube tv are you just for the most part missing out on Showtime, HBO, Cinemax etc? Right now we have maybe 250 channels and we watch like 5 and then of course we have Prime and Netflix. Thoughts?
In my case beign on the west coast I'd basically be cutting off the Dodgers because they're only available on DTV. The channels I believe you're asking about can be added on a la carte, and it would save you a lot of money.

When you watch these Cowboys games however you get them, Can you record them?

Because that's what I do for every game. Then I can pause, rewind, fast forward through commercials whatever....or If I can't watch it right then for whatever reason...I stay away from any NFL or Cowboys news until I can.

Yep, I use a Plex server for all my media. I can use over the air HD like DVR, download live streams and play them back however/whenever I want.

It would be a total Jerry move if the Cowboys were the ONLY team that had their own package.... and we have a 3-14 season and Jerry is happy.
