Have a good day, y’all. I’m off to my first day at the new job. ✌️

Until he wins a SB or 2 then he will be liked and hated. Another Romo situation.
He does not even get the hate Romo got. Most of the people here that "hate" hate do not hate him, they just do not think he is a franchise QB or that he has some big holes in his game. Most of criticisms against him are fair, he holds the ball too long, he takes a long time read the defense and he can be wildly inaccurate, he does not really like the long ball.

These "First <insert number> of games" stats would ***maybe*** have a little meaning if the trends were going up, or even staying flat.

I personally do not think it is wise to ignore the glaring fact that the trends are down...sharply.

True. Even Aikman had to endure when some called for Steve Walsh to be named the QB being that he played for Jimmy in Miami and the only win in the 1-15 season was by Walsh. After winning a SB it was Steve who?

If we get let him play the way he did against the giants and he don’t get hurt then he may just get us a SB.

I think he did what he needed to do in the Giants game but I don't think that will win you a championship. He will have to progress as the season moves on. I think he will, I think as he continues to work with these WR he will develop a comfort level with them. I hated the fact this offense went stagnate in the 2nd and 3rd qrt and while you may do that with the giants I don't like the chances going up vs top teams. My hope right now is Defense is good enough to keep us in the games but the offense has to continue to work and improve. if they do I like our chances

Have a good day, y’all. I’m off to my first day at the new job. ✌️
Personally, I think he's still living a bit on 2016...its stellar line play, Romo influence and a fantastic Zeke...but...I'm prepared to be wrong.

What have you done for me lately.

He’s 5-5 with 7 passing TD’s and 9 INT’s in his last 10. If you’re a real cowboys fan you’re pushing for improved QB play, not touting how great he was 2 years ago.

Dak was indeed great in 2016 so he’s proved capable, but he’s no where near playing at that level and for an extended period of time now. Clearly the league adjusted to Dak, he needs to adjust back. He also needs a lot more help from the coaching staff....and his front office let him down when it comes to a supporting cast

Why can't he win a championship? Run game and defense is what wins and Dallas has that. Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer won titles that way and Dak is much better

Romo has never had the high caliber teams that Dak has had in his first three season. Romo never had a defense his great, an defensive Coordinator like this, a hof rb, a great line cost for his last season. All Romo had was Witten(never the best TE at any point of his career), Dez, and Bailey.

Our Offense will get better as the season goes. And Dak is playing the way he did his rookie season. If we get Elliot rolling like the rookie season then it takes a lot of pressure off and will help allow the Offense to grow.

Put it this way. Imagine Dak and Elliot’s rookie season Offense matched with this years Defense. The packers playoff game would have went way different.
