More unsubstantiated BS by jealous unsuccessful teams and former employees who have a grudge. The Patriots have never cheated by turning up the boom box. The Patriots are victims. Tom Brady was unfairly persecuted. Its all just the laws of Physics. Oh, and Roger Staubach is a Pats fan because he compared Belicheat to Landry.

So says Rogah and the other Pats trolls that get special status around here.

I don't have any problem with that list apart for the signal jamming.

Also how badly is this written "rummage through the opposing teams hotel ", that is nonsense.

For me, I have a problem when a team sends its personnel into another team's locker room to steal play sheets, etc. That's about as blatant as it gets.

I dunno, you get outsmarted by a water boy with something deemed so important I don't really have sympathy.

Geez, you'd think one of these teams would set up a little hidden camera to catch them in the act, if it is so rampant.

Reminds me of the Colts sweeping the locker room for bugs. The fact that they sweep for bugs made the headlines. The inconvenient truth that they never actually found any gets buried on page 17.

And who are these teams stupid enough to leave they play sheets just laying around all over the place anyway?

To me, it's a question of integrity and fairness. I personally want no part of a sport where the "winner" is the team that can be the shrewdest and get away with the most without being caught.
Based on what you're saying, If you leave your front door unlocked and someone comes in and steals things from your home, I guess it's your fault for not securing your door and nothing should happen to the burglar. Yea, you weren't smart to leave your door unlocked, but the burglar should be prosecuted for what he did.

Yep, it's the other teams' fault for leaving their play sheets around. Integrity and fairness be damned. Exactly the attitude I would expect from a Pats apologist. This world is in a sad state.

Exactly. Every group has that guy who thinks he's smart by stretching every rule right to the line and over, justifying his actions on a technicality. He thinks he is a genius, most everyone else thinks he is a... well you know. Never had much respect for that attitude. BB is that guy on steroids and TB has learned well from the master.

I thought the creative use of the eligible receiver rule in the playoffs last year was bush league crap. Technically legal at the time I guess but clearly outside the intention of the rule.

Reminds me of a dictator, I won't name names. He was told for a year that they would be coming to inspect for WMD's.

Plenty of time to move them. So when they finally came. Nothing was there.

Genius.

There is no way you are stupid enough to believe that is an apt comparison.

You're the one that was talking about a team being stupid enough to leave a play sheet in THEIR locker room...the comparison to your home being burglarized is an analogy and the principle is the same. For the time the visiting team is at a stadium, the visitors locker room is THEIR locker room and is not "fair game" for the home team to come in and steal what may be in there. You apparently feel otherwise and we simply disagree.

During the 90's a friend of mine swiped a play sheet left lying around the locker room. It was during a tour of Cowboys Stadium, so I guess someone on that team lead by Jimmy Jonson did. Hope that answers your question

Can we stop with all these Patriots threads? For one, I don't care about them. And two, @Rogah wouldn't have anything to talk about as he has no interest in discussing Cowboys related news. Let's weed out the fake fans by taking away their ammo. That also goes for the people who only post once a year when Romo throws a game-sealing INT to say "I told you so."

Meh. The Pats are cheating scumbags. I think the more that's acknowledged, the better it is for football. They need to own the reputation they've so carefully built.

If Rogah wants to feel otherwise, it's his prerogative. I'm ok with him not accepting it and defending their actions. It's no skin off my back. I'm just not going to engage in a debate on the topic.

Yeah it actually is. If you leave a $100 on your windshield, then don't call the police if it's gone when you get back to your car.

I don't believe it happened because I don't believe a Patriots personnel could sneak into a locker room and steal something without getting caught on anything even remotely approaching a regular basis, but I LOL at the teams just leaving their playsheets all over the place. :lmao::lmao:
