Dallas fans give the organization a lot of grief, rightfully so, for our poor playoff record over the last couple decades and there is always a great deal of pressure to win. The Rams finished 13-3 earned a bye, have a great young coach, QB, etc. and have been one of the favorites most of the year to go to the Super Bowl. What happens if they lose?
McVay has been heralded as an offensive genius, but they went 1 and done last year and he hasn't been part of a team that has won a playoff game. Goff was in the MVP discussion early in the season, until he started stumbling near the end. They have one of the top 2 RBs in the league, one of the year's best OL and a bunch of gaudy stats. They went all out to "win now", making big moves this off season to bring in Cooks, Suh, Talib, Peters. They earned a bye and home field too.
We weren't expected to get this far and the Rams were expected to at least make the Super Bowl. The pressure is on now, how would it look for the Boy Genius HC and #1 overall pick to get beat at home by Garrett and Dak and have to see Jerry's grinning face plastered all over the media?
